FSF Posted 4 September 2009 Posted 4 September 2009 The Football Supporters' Federation have teamed up with the excellent Sporting Lodge Inns who would like to welcome Leicester City fans for their match against Middlesbrough on 29th September by offering a value for money stay with full use of the hotel's excellent facilities. Located just to the south of Middlesbrough town centre the hotel has excellent links to major trunk roads such as the A19 and A1. Rooms are priced from £40. The hotel has undergone a major refurbishment, adding the superb Old Poste House Bar & Grill, and a state of the art leisure club (incorporating a fully equipped gym and 25m pool with spa facilities) to its 135 bedrooms. There is ample free car parking and we are located only 10 minutes from Middlesbrough town centre. If you're interested click here
Shrenchel Posted 4 September 2009 Posted 4 September 2009 In what way have you 'teamed up with them?' Rooms at the hotel are priced from £40 on some websites so what's the benefit for FSF members?

Shrenchel Posted 4 September 2009 Posted 4 September 2009 Alright, still no actual benefit is there? Nothing anyone with google couldn't have got themselves. I think the FSF is brilliant and has done a lot of good work but don't you think you risk the reputation of the organisation if you start using it's respected name to spam forums with adverts?
Fox92 Posted 5 September 2009 Posted 5 September 2009 Middlesborough and Newcastle both looked good away games prior to the fixtures being released but once they were released, damn, Middlesborough and then Newcastle both midweek games is ridiculas.
Guest Posted 5 September 2009 Posted 5 September 2009 Seriously, if anyone thought that a night in Middlesborough was something to look forward to, you are sadly mistaken.

Agree, but these types of offers are often like that. I was invited to wedding and the bridal party had arrange 'special terms' for their guests I went online and booked for £10 less than their special offer.
Daggers Posted 5 September 2009 Posted 5 September 2009 Seriously, if anyone thought that a night in Middlesborough was something to look forward to, you are sadly mistaken. Looks like Carl is going to have to go back to the drawing board with his anniversary plans then.
jockkkk Posted 9 September 2009 Posted 9 September 2009 That kind of thing isn't unusual. I was offered a special delegate rate for a hotel then booked it for less online. Hotels sometimes make out that they're giving away a good deal when they're not. Makes you feel conned a bit. Can't believe the Boro match is midweek. I def can't go.
AjcW Posted 9 September 2009 Posted 9 September 2009 You would have to pay me to spend the night in Boro.
