I love going to a football match not having to wear my coat and gloves, but sometimes it's just too damn hot, everyone gets all sweaty and it starts to smell like an unclean brothel. But the winter, oh, sitting there, cold as feck, and then we score, makes it 10x more worth it to see it. And there's nothing like a match in darkness, even if it starts in the daylight, a match finishing, or a match under floodlights is brilliant. (unless it's Wembley, then daylight is best) Maybe i'm being to idealistic somebody play me The Waltons theme
