Free Falling Foxes Posted 27 October 2009 Posted 27 October 2009 Couldn't find a thread on this so here goes........ Leicester has virtually been the last place on Earth that Virgin has updated their network to, meaning you can now get their DTV. I've read many bad reports about it compared to Sky but thought I would give them a ring anyway. Well, I didn't bother signing-up. Despite having their other services they still wanted to charge me a £35 install fee. Given the fact I've been having problems with their BB speed I may leave them anyway Has anbody had any POSITIVE experiences with them and tried their DTV service?

I left them (NTL) about 4 years ago after being with them for about 4 years and being continuous promised that DTV would be available in the next 6 months. This along with their constant flood of literature personally addressed to me extolling the wonders of DTV even though it wasn't available finally led me to say enough is enough. Plus they totally ripped me off with their bills when making some obscure change. I got a letter this week informing me of this "wonderful news" unfortunately about 4 years too late
davieG Posted 27 October 2009 Posted 27 October 2009 Ive had Virgin digital for ages? As I understand it it's only certain areas - definitely Glenfield that couldn't get it.
Webbo Posted 27 October 2009 Posted 27 October 2009 I live on a shared drive so I can't get cable unless my nextdoor neighbour gets it first, and they've got Sky so no chance.
