leicesterfox86 Posted 17 November 2009 Posted 17 November 2009 As you would have heard, Frank Lampard got injured on a budget flight to Brazil last week. As a result of this, this football blogger looks at the Chelsea and England man's injury and gives his rather bizarre thoughts on it! Apparantley he thought about writing a letter to the FA to thank them for providing a budget flight!! Anyway, he also lists some other bizarre injuries that have occured. I'm sure there are plenty he has missed out though. Didn't Rio Ferdinand get injured changing the channel or something? Also, any Leicester players had any injuries like this that you know of?
Father Ted Posted 17 November 2009 Posted 17 November 2009 I think Mark Fish who used to play for Charlton stood through a glass table.
Wycombe Fox Posted 17 November 2009 Posted 17 November 2009 I seem to remember a City player injuring himself on some railings whilst walking a dog, Frank Worthington maybe? Not long after Gary Lineker moved to Japan, he dropped his wallet on his big toe thus breaking it and retiring soon after.

The amount of times players have dropped something on their foot and breaking a toe makes it quite implausible to me. Surely it's just a cover-up of an even sillier event!!
Jay Posted 18 November 2009 Posted 18 November 2009 didn't Darius Vassell try and burst a blood blister under his toe with a black and decker drill when he was at Villa
StanSP Posted 18 November 2009 Posted 18 November 2009 Kirk Broadfoot not too long ago got scolded by an egg exploding in his face http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2009/ma...plosion-rangers
