Mack Posted 9 December 2009 Posted 9 December 2009 I noticed in last night's programme there were photos from the game on Saturday but Nigel Pearson's notes had clearly been written prior to the Forest debacle. I was a little cheesed off to be honest as he could have at least stuck a few lines of apology and explanation in there given he obviously had time to do so. And why were they not selling the programme outside the ground last night? Had to go hunting inside for one on a wild goose chase!
Rocket-Ron Posted 9 December 2009 Posted 9 December 2009 Perhaps he thought it more constructive to get the team only to concede three goals instead of the five So looks like the road to recovery is back on track!!
Daggers Posted 9 December 2009 Posted 9 December 2009 And why were they not selling the programme outside the ground last night? Sack the board!
StanSP Posted 9 December 2009 Posted 9 December 2009 What difference does it make?? Game's done. Look ahead to Wednesday on Saturday. I'm sure his programme notes will be updated for you then.

The difference it makes is that after that shower on Saturday he could have at least acknowledged it was not acceptable and explained his way forward to put things right. I for one showed up last night expecting a reaction from Pearson and his team, the lack of notes reflected perfectly his sides lack of ability to turn the tide last night. A bumpy right for Pearson is predicted, he seems a little too arrogant at times to bite the bullet and admit he has made a balls up.
CosbehFox Posted 9 December 2009 Posted 9 December 2009 Two explainable reasons. Firstly, too busy on the training ground. Secondarily, maybe the printers wanted copy for Saturday afternoon.
