Hi Hoylandowl and welcome.

I've split your post to a new topic hopefully more will see it and reply.

You'll get a better response if you actually post the questions in here? You can then pick the best one.

[OwlsonlineAdmin]

Thanks for that...

Here goes then

1)So as the season started what were your expectations for the Foxes?

2) After hitting good form until recently have they changed?

3) Nigel Pearson, Owls legend, do you think he's the man to guide the club back to its former glory?

4) If you could sing one player (realistically) to be the last piece in the jigsaw who would it be?

5) Other than Forest/Derby e.g. your geographival rivals, who do you want to beat the most and why?

6) Matty Fryatt is probably the player who most fans would be able to name as your star player, so who is the next big thing at the Walkers Stadium?

7) What do you know about Wednesday?

8) Any particular memories of games V the Owls? Good/Bad.

9)Team News (or any hope we might win!?!?!)

10) Score Prediction?

Thanks in advance.

HoylandOwl..

As I say I will put the story on the front page of the site with a link to here, and it will be on our messageboard too.

[Bert]

1)So as the season started what were your expectations for the Foxes? I would have been happy with a top 10 finish, but realistically anything above relegation is progress for us.

2) After hitting good form until recently have they changed? Yes, there doesn't seem to be any effort or enthusiasm at the minute.

3) Nigel Pearson, Owls legend, do you think he's the man to guide the club back to its former glory? He's done a pretty decent job so far. He's doesn't take no shit, and does it his way, and that's how it should be.

4) If you could sing one player (realistically) to be the last piece in the jigsaw who would it be? James Beattie

5) Other than Forest/Derby e.g. your geographival rivals, who do you want to beat the most and why? Peterborough. Last season they thought they were bigger than they were, and then manager Darren Ferguson said "There's only one team in it" (When they were at the peak of their form, even though we were still top) and their chairman was getting too big for his boots too. Saying that they were going to win the league, then be in the Premiership. I'd love nothing more than to see them relegated.

6) Matty Fryatt is probably the player who most fans would be able to name as your star player, so who is the next big thing at the Walkers Stadium? It's a shame Waghorn is suspended and not ours, because he's brilliant, but for me it's Aleksander Tunchev, who won't be playing today.

7) What do you know about Wednesday? Good club, currently going through some sort of problems, always beat us at the Walkers with some sort of wonder goal, decent support. Shouldn't be where they are.

8) Any particular memories of games V the Owls? Good/Bad. Bad. My first away game was when you got relegated from the prem, and beat us 4-0. Then a few years later, you beat us 4-1 with 3 wonder goals! The worst though was obviously in 2008. 1-0 up and we lose 3-1 more or less condemming us to League One, where if we'd have drew we'd have stayed up. Having already beat you in the season, it made it more the worse.

9)Team News (or any hope we might win!?!?!) Some hope, because we're playing shit. Waghorn suspended, so he'llbe a miss. If Robbie Neilson plays, you'll have a decent afternoon.

10) Score Prediction? 1-1

[davieG]

1)So as the season started what were your expectations for the Foxes? - Upper Mid-table

2) After hitting good form until recently have they changed? - No

3) Nigel Pearson, Owls legend, do you think he's the man to guide the club back to its former glory? - I'm happy that he's got us back to the Championship with a does of integrity and professionalism. Only time will tell on how much further he can take us, it's not just down to him is it?

4) If you could sign one player (realistically) to be the last piece in the jigsaw who would it be? - A strong defensive midfielder to enable us to play with 2 attacking wingers.

5) Other than Forest/Derby e.g. your geographical rivals, who do you want to beat the most and why? Everyone

6) Matty Fryatt is probably the player who most fans would be able to name as your star player, so who is the next big thing at the Walkers Stadium? Weale probably our most consistent performer.

7) What do you know about Wednesday? Fine club with a great tradition but like so many similar clubs suffering from the glut of money being thrown at the top clubs and players - Oh and recently you always seem to beat us.

8) Any particular memories of games V the Owls? Good/Bad. Nothing sticks harder than our last home game against you!

9)Team News (or any hope we might win!?!?!) Difficult to predict what Pearson will do but I don't expect anything revolutionary.

10) Score Prediction? 1-1

[Fox92]

1)So as the season started what were your expectations for the Foxes?

I tought that the team was not good enough really. I did honestly think, at this point in December, we would be struggling.

2) After hitting good form until recently have they changed?

Yes. Obviousley, I want us to go up, like I did at the start of the season, but I am not to sure if we are good enough for the play offs. However, reaching the play offs at the end of the season would be great and that what my expectations are now. Some may say that is to high for a side that has just been promoted but once you are third, you want to stop there. Nigel has done a fantastic job so far though, and we have met two good teams within a week but I just hope we can beat you lot today although I think we may struggle.

3) Nigel Pearson, Owls legend, do you think he's the man to guide the club back to its former glory?

Yes. He has signed some good players here. Being a former defender in his career, thats where our main strength is, if we could get a striker that could score goals and most probably a hard midfielder like Neil Lennon was I think we will be fine this season and then look onwards.

4) If you could sing one player (realistically) to be the last piece in the jigsaw who would it be?

Richard Chaplow.

5) Other than Forest/Derby e.g. your geographival rivals, who do you want to beat the most and why?

I want to beat Doncaster Rovers, Sheffield Wednesday and Sheffield United the most as I live in Worksop, which is just down the road from Sheffield as you will know. All my friends from college, and formerly school, support local teams such as Leeds, Doncaster, Sheffield Wednesday and Sheffield United, so I look forward to playing those teams and want to beat them so bad.

6) Matty Fryatt is probably the player who most fans would be able to name as your star player, so who is the next big thing at the Walkers Stadium?

Young player? Probably Jack Hobbs. We pinched him off of Liverpool for £400,000. I'd go to say he is most probably the best defender in the league on his best form - he is a rock, hardly ever gets beaten on the ground and is great in the air. He's in defence for what he needs to do, and he does it great. The next Jamie Carragher!

7) What do you know about Wednesday?

Everything, seeing as I live just down the road in Worksop. Been to Hillsborough several times and it is a lovely old ground - something that I like. All of my mates who support Wednesday make out they are the best team around at times and thats why I want to beat them. I don't want them to get relegated, but just not to finish above Leicester. Laws has done a good job there, he is a good manager and key players for me are Tudgay and Beevers.

8) Any particular memories of games V the Owls? Good/Bad.

All bad. In all the times I have seen Wednesday, home and away, I think we have only won three times. A 2-0 win at The Walkers, a 2-0 win at Hillsborough and way back when I was little on boxing day I think - Did Cottee score? Can't remember that far back. The 4-1 at our place was terrible, we left when you scored your third. All wonder goals as well, Brunt, Tudgay and Whelan.

9)Team News (or any hope we might win!?!?!)

Tunchev and Clemence out, thats it I think for us. Waghorn suspended.

10) Score Prediction?

0-1. Yes, Sheffield Wednesday to win. Marcus Tudgay to score. Simply because, Sheffield Wednesday are local to where I live so my mates can take the mick out of me and Nigel hasn't beaten one of his old clubs at home yet - West Brom lost 1-2 and drew 2-2 with Carlisle last season.

[Guest Mee-9]

1)So as the season started what were your expectations for the Foxes? - Bottom half ofTable

2) After hitting good form until recently have they changed? - Yes, We've been playing alot better than what i predicted we would be, and the last two results have been a blip, so hopefully we can get back on track.

3) Nigel Pearson, Owls legend, do you think he's the man to guide the club back to its former glory? - Yeah, NP is a strong leader, as Burt said 'He don't take no shit'

4) If you could sign one player (realistically) to be the last piece in the jigsaw who would it be? - Akos Busaky

5) Other than Forest/Derby e.g. your geographical rivals, who do you want to beat the most and why? West Brom, I think they're the team to beat this season.

6) Matty Fryatt is probably the player who most fans would be able to name as your star player, so who is the next big thing at the Walkers Stadium? Personally, I believe Fryatt isn't the star player, Yes he scores most of the goals, and we'd be nowhere without him, But i think Weale, or Bruno Berner have been pretty consistant all season so far. But even tho he's suspended, Martyn Waghorn is truely excellent.

7) What do you know about Wednesday? A club with alot of honour. Personally, I reckon the team in Sheffield i'd rather support!

8) Any particular memories of games V the Owls? Seems like you always beat us!

9)Team News (or any hope we might win!?!?!) Tunchev & Clemence injured. Waghorn Suspended. Will be a tough game for both sides, Hopefully we have a good game, and theres plenty of goals.

10) Score Prediction? 3-2

1)So as the season started what were your expectations for the Foxes?

Mid-table was my aim and anything above that would be a bonus.

2) After hitting good form until recently have they changed?

Yes, you could see the cracks appearing and then last week, oh I don't want to go there.

3) Nigel Pearson, Owls legend, do you think he's the man to guide the club back to its former glory?

Yes, he is the man for us. I back him but some boo him.

4) If you could sing one player (realistically) to be the last piece in the jigsaw who would it be?

I don't want to sing one player but I would sign Chopra.

5) Other than Forest/Derby e.g. your geographival rivals, who do you want to beat the most and why?

Coventry because I really dislike their scummy fans.

6) Matty Fryatt is probably the player who most fans would be able to name as your star player, so who is the next big thing at the Walkers Stadium?

Would say Waghorn but he isn't ours so apart from that I would say Gradel because I still believe he will be a star for us when back from Leeds.

7) What do you know about Wednesday?

They used to be called The Wednesday Cricket Club and Kevin Pressman was around forever.

8) Any particular memories of games V the Owls? Good/Bad.

Relegation season hurt me deep. 1-3.

9)Team News (or any hope we might win!?!?!)

Well you're playing us at the right time so who knows.

10) Score Prediction?

1-1 although I do think you will win.

[Cropwellfox]

Thanks for that...

Here goes then

1)So as the season started what were your expectations for the Foxes? - consolidation. pure and simple.

2) After hitting good form until recently have they changed? - personally I think we have flattered to deceive this season. I'm a pessimist by nature, but after we won at QPR I found myself starting to consider whether we could make the playoffs. The last couple of games have certainly been a reality check!

3) Nigel Pearson, Owls legend, do you think he's the man to guide the club back to its former glory? He has as good a chance as anybody. He has said that the last 7 days has been his most difficult week since taking over, so I guess we'll now see what he really is made of.

4) If you could sing one player (realistically) to be the last piece in the jigsaw who would it be? Paul McKenna was hugely impressive last week for the Trees.

We're lacking that type of midfield player desperately at the moment.

5) Other than Forest/Derby e.g. your geographival rivals, who do you want to beat the most and why? Covscum, Leedsscum

6) Matty Fryatt is probably the player who most fans would be able to name as your star player, so who is the next big thing at the Walkers Stadium?

There are a few. With the right kind of central-defensive partner, Jack Hobbs could have a really good future ahead of him. Chris Weale isn't a youngster, but in the main has been a very solid keeper since joining in the summer.

7) What do you know about Wednesday?

I don't really get why they are struggling so much at the moment. If i look at what I would assume your first XI to be it looks pretty well balanced to me, and I think a few of your players would be very welcome in our squad (Grant, Tudgay, Beevers, Potter)

8) Any particular memories of games V the Owls? Good/Bad.

Good: My first ever away game was v Weds in '86. 2-2 draw as a 10 year old. Think Lee Chapman scored twice? I seem to remember spending a lot of the game laughing at a picture of your away kit in the programme. Grey with purple diagonal pinstripes. Beautiful!

Bad: Holloway's last home game. Horrible, absolutely horrible, and even worse as I went with a Wednesday fan friend. I knew when you went 3-1 up that we'd be relegated, and I'll never forget walking round the stadium past your supporters singing we want 4.

9)Team News (or any hope we might win!?!?!)

You are playing us at exactly the right time. Looks like a crisis of confidence in both camps at the moment... Fryatt should be back, no idea who alongside. Luckily for you Wayne Brown will be at CB as we are short of cover.

10) Score Prediction?

Neither of us can win, or score.... head says 0-0, which probably means one team will win 6-4

Thanks in advance.

HoylandOwl..

As I say I will put the story on the front page of the site with a link to here, and it will be on our messageboard too.

[The Doctor]

1)So as the season started what were your expectations for the Foxes?

The usual relegation battle

2) After hitting good form until recently have they changed?

Slightly. I'm confident of mid table obscurity but not much more

3) Nigel Pearson, Owls legend, do you think he's the man to guide the club back to its former glory?

So far i'd say he's the manager to lead us back to the prem eventually but i don't think he'll do as well as O'Neill.

4) If you could sign one player (realistically) to be the last piece in the jigsaw who would it be?

not sure but i'd want a creative midfielder. Chris Brunt perhaps.

5) Other than Forest/Derby e.g. your geographival rivals, who do you want to beat the most and why?

Crystal Palace or Ipswich. I simply can't stand either of their managers.

6) Matty Fryatt is probably the player who most fans would be able to name as your star player, so who is the next big thing at the Walkers Stadium?

Michael Morrison

7) What do you know about Wednesday?

Side with a good history but stuck in a rut at the moment with no realistic chance of returning to former glories anytime soon.

8) Any particular memories of games V the Owls? Good/Bad.

the 4-1 defeat in 06 and the 3-1 defeat last time we were in the championship spring to mind. I've only ever seen us beat you once, in September 05 when de Vries netted twice in 2 minutes (12th min and 14th min) to give us a 2-0 win.

9)Team News (or any hope we might win!?!?!)

Tunchev and clemence long term absentees, waghorn suspended so a good chance if you're fast out of the blocks as tunchev is the only defender that i've never seen slip up and waghorn was the only player in the last two games that seemed interested in playing for leicester.

10) Score Prediction?

1-0 to the city. Kermorgant with a late winner.

[BoneDog]

1)So as the season started what were your expectations for the Foxes? - I thought we had a slight chance of sneaking the play-offs because of the confidence around the team and was happy with the quality of football for the first time in a while. I would of been very happy with mid table though.

2) After hitting good form until recently have they changed? - Yes. After seeing how well we've done in the first half of the season I've started dreaming of Championship Play-Offs again

5) Other than Forest/Derby e.g. your geographival rivals, who do you want to beat the most and why? - Cardiff. It's always a big game in my opinion and now it is fricking massive.

7) What do you know about Wednesday? - One of the best Kops in the history of the world.

8) Any particular memories of games V the Owls? Good/Bad. - Bad memories - A couple of seasons ago at The Walkers. After the great day out at Barnsley I had real hope of staying in the Championship. But Wednesday came to town and destroyed those hopes. One of the worst football related feelings ever after that game.

9)Team News (or any hope we might win!?!?!) - Howard and King start today and I think both will score.

10) Score Prediction? - 3-0
