I think that if he was hidden somewhere in Iran it doesn't mean the Iranian government had anything to do with it. It would just mean that he was taken by shias probably and they had some safe houses over the border. Not sure if the US or whoever will try to implicate Iran in this.

We all know that Israel and US are itching for a war with Iran (if they can't change the government by starting riots and all that).

I'm not even sure who did take this guy to be honest. Many kidnappings have been done by US or Israeli secret services (or their middle eastern counterparts) and blamed on Iraqis or others (including that English lady who Iraqis loved for many years).

Really pleased for him and his family.......... His Dad lives in Wigston apparently

Aye he's a very lucky guy. This must be absolutely amazing for him and his family. I never thought it would happen :D

I doubt the US would want a war with Iran. If the UK and the US went to war with Iran we would hardly stand a chance. We have no where near the ratio needed for a successful invasion of a country with resources like that.

Aye you could be right cos ours and the US's military have already got massive jobs on their hands at the moment. I think if they do oat it will be air strikes like they did on Saddam in the years between the two wars with Iraq. But that will be dangerous for our governments cos Iran would most likely have the means to retalliate in ways Saddam didn't. :dunno:

Iran's too westernised in themselves as well. Tehran is the nearest thing you'll get in Asia to an European capital city. Shame all the village folk support the mad fella in charge.

They want to go to war with everyone.

They split up Yugoslavia because we were slowly becoming a force.

Except soon, Russia and China will annihilate the Yanks.

Didnt say that, just meant that the US and Uk wont want a war because they will be unable to compete in one.

There's a real thirst for change in the major cities of Iran for the country to become more libertarian and less religious among the young and educated. Just as there was a real thirst for change in the major cities of Iran for the country to become more religious and less corrupt among the young and educated in 1979. It could be very interesting to see what happens there in 2010, I don't think it'd take too much for the people of the country to rise up again. The riots and civil unrest are probably unfinished.
