If the Kop could be reclaimed from the moaners and pensioners, I'd probably move back from L1. Starting to wish I'd gone yesterday now.

If I had my way, 3/4 of the Kop and the middle of the East stand (more moaners and pensioners...) would be moved to the West stand, the 'Kop' would trade places with the North Stand and the away fans would be hemmed between L&K and a 'real' Kop. Shame it won't happen though...

Hi all Swans fan here,

Overall thought you did deserve the win. Was very similar to opening game of the season, we went one up and were on top for the first half, second half don't think we troubled you at all and if the game went on longer then you would have won by bigger margin on both occasions.

Must be honest did feel a bit like an outlaw allowed out for the day though!! buses escorted straight to the ground into the stadium only to find out that alcohol is not being served to visiting fans (i'm sure ths was not the case in August, nor has it been at any other ground i've been to this season), toilets were tiny (again sure this is not the case at other parts of the ground). Then back onto the buses and escorted away again. A bit over the top if you ask me but hey ho.

Not all bad though, good banter between the supporters and special acknowledgement to fatty on the drums who was in good spirits what ever the score (just to clarify the chants were fatty whats the score and not Paki as queried ealrier on this site).

Was not initially bothered too much buy being knocked out but then saw the 4th round draw and we could have had the scum!!! gutted!!!! :@ Make sure you know them out cos we can't have them goin on a run like they did a coupl eof years ago.

Look forward to playing you at the Liberty on 16th Jan, should be a great game and hope you bring a few fans down & create a good atmosphere, should be a sell out!!

all the best

Cyril

Welcome Cyril.

:dunno: What can you say about the buses? I noticed there was way too many police there for what the gate was. Totally unnecessary.

Pretty sure that alcohol is never served in the away end at the Walkers... and the toilets are tiny in the Kop too.

We'll probably sell out our initial allocation but can't see more than 1500 making the trip!

Personally, I'm not too bothered about who did or didn't go...or why?! I had a top day out & even if there were only 12,000 of us there then the atmosphere & humour proved to me that the spirit of the cup is alive & well.

I'd be happy with 12,000 supporters every home game if they can provide an atmosphere like that

The game aside, for anyone who cares, my personal highlight of the day had to be:

The same "etc" who paid £5 for a pre-match Fruli! :crylaugh:

Alcohol not being served to away fans is one of the most horrible and annoying decisions any club has ever made.

When I go away I normally want frickin beer you winkers. Thank God for Y-Fronts and miniature whiskies.

Was gonna say miniature Bells but changed me mind :D

:appl:

Paying extra for the bus home was a bit of a bane though.

Bloody privatised public transport. :protest:
