Geo V Posted 24 January 2010 Posted 24 January 2010 Hi to those who remember me. Ive been abroad for the best part of 18 months and left good old blighty when we were well and truly in the sh*tter. Loads has seemed to have gone by over that time and there were some things that were happening around the time including the optimistic bus, Im sure that was blown up when we got relegated? Raj is an absolute tosser for not keeping it going Well, Im yet to go through all the threads to see who is still aound and what has changed but I need to sort out some prizes for a competition thats 18 months old . Thankfully no debt collector letters were left on my matt when returning home. One pronlem is that Pete Jones or whatever his name is gave us a signed shirt as a prize but I never claimed it! Ive heard he has left the club . I still have the emails sent so hopefully the good folks of LCFC honour our contract If not i`ll work something out. It must be great to have been part of a succesful season and good old Thrac (is he still alive and singing the praises of Dodds and Sheehan??) did say that we would be better off getting relegated and start again. Those words were amongst the few wise ones the old git muttered by I am yet to see Emile Heskey line up at centre back and Sheehan to be pulling up trees wherever the poor sod is This season we IMO are flying. I have only glanced through the threads over the time but one thing that really strikes me is how critical many seem to be. Knocking NP and his decisions. The players seem to be getting a hammering and whilst I dont go to all games, I did manage to see loads on Sky and the Internet and some of the critism aimed at the likes of Brown and Neilsen may be a bit unfair considering there value. They were never going to play like John Terry and Glen Johnson were they???!! Maybe some would prefer Hellings and Chambers instead?? Anyway we are in a much healthier position and I am optimistic that we can consolidate and who knows, even sneak into the playoffs come the seasons end. People IMO shouldnt really get ahead of themselves with knee-jerk reactions and look at the bigger picture as to where we are to where we were 18 months or so ago. Anyway, its great to be back and I`d love to see who the moaning tosspots are so I can aim some abuse at them, respectfully of course All aboard the opimistic bus??

I tried explaining to the kids that the PS3 isn't coming but there's been nothing but tears for the whole of this time. Still, at least this gives them closure and a chance to rebuild their lives.

I went to Cyprus and not long being there a relative decided to take us to the only casino on the Island which was in the illegal state bit which was Northern Cyprus. It was funny to half my family in there doing there knads gambling and I duly joined them, losing at will.
