    • I stand in L1 or K and I think it would be: A good idea - it could work if implemented properly/I'd give it a go

    • I stand in L1 or K and I think it would be: A bad idea - I like standing next to the away fans/it won't work

Cant we just get the club to move the "Kop" in to the north end of the west stand.

By that i mean murging them near the away fans instead of further away. :dunno:

Too close to fusions i would imagine. We dont want to upset those corporate types now do we.

Thats where i sit btw, and the atmosphere against the barcodes was fantastic.

There was a vote back in time and members of the south stand did not vote in favour of the switch.

Yeah i guess so but all we really have to do is get most of the standers over there which is what, one block if we stand all the way to the front??

Our problem is that the 3000 librarians at the front of the cop slowly tut the 500 lads at the back to death >_<

Theres nothing we can really do about them. but the L1 lot starting the rest of the west stand going could carry on around the ground. he says hopefully

bugger.

anyway flogging that dead horse a bit more...

Quite a few fans have since moved over to L1 so perhaps the vote might be different if it was done again. Probably not though. Shame

it will never be the kop in my eyes it died along with filbert st

the crisp bowl is devoid of any real atmosphere except for big big games

if you want to stand stay in l1 or k1 dont do what the club wants they only want to sanitise it more

that is why they made l1 season ticket only

just my thoughts which i know are right

sit down shut up pay up its the way of footy these days

stay together in l k blocks keep standing and piss the club off :D:D:D:D:D:D:D

I sat in the kop the season we went down, was back row. Stewards tried to get us to sit down every game. We still tried to stand and sing and create an atmosphere but there would only be about 10 people trying to sing. the only exception is when we got a corner, or the 'big' games. Since i moved to L i look forward to home games alot more. Love the banter and no hassel of stewards telling you to sit down. IMO the fans in L get behind their team much more, as when i was in the kop alot of fans would boo the team each week. Im not ever going to move back to the kop. The only option would be to swap the kop with the family stad as people have mentioned but the club wont do that will they? Is there someone we could all email to try and get this to happen? if everyone is in favour that is.

You don't have to be a season ticket holder to get into the family stand, do you ?? Or have a kid with you ?? Why don't singers/standers just use N Block :dunno:

We did midway through the 06-07 season and it was magic, but the rest of the North Stand and SAGs started kicking up a fuss, and the club swiftly killed it off.

You have to be a member, there has to be at least two people, and have at least one person who is a different generation to you.
