chambo_9 Posted 17 May 2005 Posted 17 May 2005 I think the under 18's are in a tournament this weekend , AJax etc can anybody confirm , know any results? 108416[/snapback] We beat Ajax 1-0, drew with villareal 0-0, beat fc volvik (thats how u say it not spell it) 4-0, beat malmo on penalties about 16-15 lost to vitesse arnam (semi final) 1-0 lost to fc volvik (3rd place playoff) 1-0..... so all in all we finished 4th, not bad but we needed a bigger squad, hard playing 6 games in 3 days 25 mins each way with only 16 players.

I think Ajax were weakened drew to under 17s euro championships IMO but still they are still known for a good academy!

Ric Flair Posted 18 May 2005 Posted 18 May 2005 Pleased to see the academy doing well. Keep up the good work, you never know you might get offered a reduced contract if your lucky. Good to see James Graham as prolific as ever, I think next season is really crucial in his development. He needs to steer clear of injury and take whatever chances come his way, same with Wesolowski, Porter and Dodds.
