Sparky Posted 5 February 2010 Posted 5 February 2010 That and, as much as I hate the Wabbies, he's like - half the player? That said, where's he pissed off too now? Brive? They were shocking in the HC. To be honest i thought Flood had a decent 6 nations last year and a big part in us finishing as runners up(At least i think we finished runners up). I think its a selection that smacks of a kicking game but like i said earlier i aint fussed how we win
Finnegan Posted 5 February 2010 Author Posted 5 February 2010 You're better off trying to play hoof ball to be honest. Fucking shit-off ugly but you'll do us. Try and play a loose game against us and we'll just beat you with superior flare.
Edmund Posted 6 February 2010 Posted 6 February 2010 HT England 13 - Wales 3 Great performance from England so far.
dandannieldanok Posted 6 February 2010 Posted 6 February 2010 Great performance from England so far. I must be watching a different game. It's dismal from both teams, England are so boring and one-dimensional it's almost enough to make you cry. Pick up and drive, pick up and drive, dull dull dull. They should eek out the win and it's a results business yes, but if they were a bit smarter the game could be well out of reach for Wales.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 6 February 2010 Posted 6 February 2010 England doing alright. Wales Player who got sin-binned was a tit. Why trip someone up infront of the ref? Really scrappy game though, Games full of mistakes!
Finnegan Posted 6 February 2010 Author Posted 6 February 2010 Great performance from England so far. what? I'm glad Dan's said what he has it makes me look a little less biased. This is a shit game, so far. England are literally playing on their own, there's not another team on the park. It's largely as predicted, really, as I said - if Wales don't show up they've not got a cat in hell's chance. No self belief, no confidence, no flair. Depressing.
purpleronnie Posted 6 February 2010 Posted 6 February 2010 I thought The Irish would win it this year, but I think I'll have a bet on France. So thats them with no chance.

True but we've had to go back to basics and I'll take the win wether it's ugly or not.
dandannieldanok Posted 6 February 2010 Posted 6 February 2010 Finally, a bit of quick ball, reasonably fluent (well by England's standards) passing between the backs, result?? - a try. Rugby is a simpler game than these teams make it look.
Finnegan Posted 6 February 2010 Author Posted 6 February 2010 Or not. Maybe. Either way, you have to admit, it was good of us to give you a fifteen point lead before we decided to start playing.
dandannieldanok Posted 6 February 2010 Posted 6 February 2010 Either way, you have to admit, it was good of us to give you a fifteen point lead before we decided to start playing. Let's just say Alun Wyn Jones has been one of England's best players so far.
Finnegan Posted 6 February 2010 Author Posted 6 February 2010 Let's just say Alun Wyn Jones has been one of England's best players so far. Our kickers have been pretty good for you, too. What could that be, now? 20 - 19?
dandannieldanok Posted 6 February 2010 Posted 6 February 2010 Our kickers have been pretty good for you, too. What could that be, now? 20 - 19? At least. Hook missed 2 in 1st half and Jones has just missed that one.
Finnegan Posted 6 February 2010 Author Posted 6 February 2010 FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-
Finnegan Posted 6 February 2010 Author Posted 6 February 2010 By far and away the player we've missed the most today is Phillips/Peel. Cooper just isn't good enough.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 6 February 2010 Posted 6 February 2010 True but we've had to go back to basics and I'll take the win wether it's ugly or not. Agree with this. It's not been the best of games. Bit sloppy, Full of mistakes by both sides.
Finnegan Posted 6 February 2010 Author Posted 6 February 2010 Martin Johnson's magic 70. Anything can happen if you're in touching distance in the last ten minutes. You'll probably score again and win it but whatever. At least it's a respectable score now. :\
dandannieldanok Posted 6 February 2010 Posted 6 February 2010 And that's what Wales have been missing with Hook at full-back. More holes in the England defence than a sieve.
Edmund Posted 6 February 2010 Posted 6 February 2010 Good win, great performance. It's coming home, it's coming, Rugbys coming home.
dandannieldanok Posted 6 February 2010 Posted 6 February 2010 Getting 30 points playing like that is more than satisfactory and the result is great. Some nice moments for England but some equally poor moments, they need to be smarter if they want to challenge the likes of France and Ireland. Not sure where Wales go from here, need to build on the second half performance, first half was appalling.
