FoxyPV Posted 13 March 2010 Posted 13 March 2010 Here's hoping Wales have a bad day in the rugby and at the Walkers. they are having a 'mare so far but the ref has just give a mad penalty for nothing. 19- 9 so far to Ireland
FoxyPV Posted 13 March 2010 Posted 13 March 2010 I think i love keith earls 24 - 9 to ireland. Sexton is having a bit of difficulty kicking his way out of a wet paper bag

FoxyPV Posted 13 March 2010 Posted 13 March 2010 Done alright today, yeah. Think he's distinctly average as an international rugby player, however. He's been a legend today and his performance was epic :: Triple crown coming our way (after being truly schooled by the French)
Finnegan Posted 13 March 2010 Author Posted 13 March 2010 Bit of an exaggeration but yeah, like I said, he was decent. Wales aren't much of a scalp on current form really, shambles.
FoxyPV Posted 13 March 2010 Posted 13 March 2010 Bit of an exaggeration All hyperbole is intentional C'mon Scotland!!
Guest Bilo Posted 13 March 2010 Posted 13 March 2010 England might as well touch their toes and part their cheeks for the French now on this form. Pathetic.
Finnegan Posted 13 March 2010 Author Posted 13 March 2010 England might as well touch their toes and part their cheeks for the French now on this form. Pathetic. To be fair, I think that was true of everyone from the word go. They really are excellent at the moment and they've some how learned to be consistent, too.
dandannieldanok Posted 13 March 2010 Posted 13 March 2010 Not good enough simply, overall it's been a poor campaign for England. Played shite rugby throughout. How long can Martin Johnson get away with it?
Finnegan Posted 13 March 2010 Author Posted 13 March 2010 Shit campaign for everyone, really, except the French. Even the Irish have looked very ordinary.
The Doctor Posted 13 March 2010 Posted 13 March 2010 shame to only draw. i felt we had slightly better of the match but lost our cool when underneath the posts. Still at least we'll win something in this tournament (unlike england). granted what we'll "win" is a nice wooden spoon but it's still winning something.
Sparky Posted 13 March 2010 Posted 13 March 2010 The Jocks deserved the win and im thankful for the point. We going nowhere under Jonno. Borthwick, Worsley, Payne, Thompson, Wilko, Deacon need to be axed and new blood needs to be given a chance. Probably too late to make a difference for the next 18 months but give the young uns a go. I wanna see Youngs, Flood, Lawes, Alex Goode, Foden and Dowson at Northampton developed as we are in desperate need for some pace and invention in the side. Only positive i can find is that for the second year on the bounce we finish above Wales ......
FoxyPV Posted 13 March 2010 Posted 13 March 2010 Thought Scotland deserved by the tines of margins and would of have it except for some poor decision making. England are guff under Jonno but everyone else is happy about that. The french have been amazing this campaign. they always threaten to do so but have actually consistently produced this year. ireland for the world cup with keith woods coming out of retirement to kick a drop goal in the last minute!
Edmund Posted 20 March 2010 Posted 20 March 2010 What's with the booing of the penalty kick? I always thought rugby fans showed more dignity no matter what the circumstances were leading to the penalty. I've only caught glimpses of the match so far, Italy looked like they put up quite a strong defence to start with but Wales have played some good rugby. Also is the dye running from the Italians shirts? They all seem to have blue ink on their shorts.
orangecity23 Posted 20 March 2010 Posted 20 March 2010 That Sam Warburton looks a good player .... the best thing since sliced bread I'll get my coat.
purpleronnie Posted 20 March 2010 Posted 20 March 2010 Caught in 2 minds I bet France to win it at the start but now its against england. mmmmm.....
Finnegan Posted 20 March 2010 Author Posted 20 March 2010 What's with the booing of the penalty kick? I always thought rugby fans showed more dignity no matter what the circumstances were leading to the penalty. Probably something to do with the fact that the penalty was a bit harsh and that the penalty taker had punched Phillips in the face earlier and then, after the whistle had blown for the penalty, was carrying on with him again. Welsh rugby fans are a bit "edgier" than the English, anyway, though. Rugby Union is very much a middle class sport in England, well mannered and kindly people go to watch English rugby and the height of the banter is usually the odd silly joke about the ref's hair-do or something. Welsh rugby fans are a bit more akin to football fans. Anyone who's ever stood on the terraces at the old Stradey Park or the Cardiff Arms will, no doubt, tell you that it can be a pretty hostile place - especially if you're English.

I must admit I didn't see the build up before hand as I was flicking between ssn and the rugger.
dandannieldanok Posted 20 March 2010 Posted 20 March 2010 If Scotland are ever to do anything in rugby they need to start dispatching this type of game, they're clearly the better team, but like against Wales you never fancy them to convert it into a win.
FoxyPV Posted 20 March 2010 Posted 20 March 2010 Stop fooking turning the fooking ball over for fook's sake!!!!!
