Top Ten: They're ready for the Premier League

the croatians (in paticular Kranjcar and Olic) agree with you on that.

It was his first competative England match and an absolutely crucial one not to lose. A stupidly high-pressured match to give a young keeper his 'proper' national debut. Yeah he screwed up badly on Kranjcar's, but Olic's was more the defense's fault than his.

I'm not saying he's the greatest keeper in the country or something, just I think he's too good to be playing in the Championship. I don't remember him being notably gaffe-prone at Villa or West Brom, and he's had plenty of games in the prem where he's been outstanding. Therefore I thought Scott Carson was somewhat more 'ready for the prem' than, say, Joe Lewis, which was why I found the article a bit daft. Then I realised they were talking about players who hadn't really been tested in the prem yet, but I still think he's dropped off the radar a bit undeservedly. It's not like our other prospective keepers haven't made any gaffes.

Scott Carson is obviously gonna be more ready for the Premiership as hes played most of his career so far there.

i doubt it, scott carson is rubbish, anyways, isnt this list for players that have never played in the prem?

First thing that hit me is how amateurishly written it is. Am I turning into a journalism snob?

Best word usage in the whole thing is the casual lobbing in of the word "partaking" for basically no reason.

Sean St Ledger! lol:dunno: Whatever!

Half of that list looks very dubious to be honest though.

I think you need to go and watch highlights from Republic of Ireland's qualifying campaign for the World Cup to see that St Ledger is a brilliant player. lol

They always make these lists but no one can predict who will be good enough for the Premiership, because who would have thought that Scott Dann and Roger Johnson would have been good enough?

Now look, the fourth best defence in the League I think.

Roger Johnson always looked fantastic for Cardiff and easily capable of being a solid mid-table Premiership defender.

The step up is always interesting as when you surround some players with better quality players, their confidence and use of the ball can grow, they can often improve beyond expectations.

I can honestly see Fryatt as one of this type of player, his positioning is good and his running is often creative, he regularly gets into a scoring position... if the balls he is receiving were top quality, he might just go on to score more often.

I think he will get picked up over summer and we will see.
