We have a winner...almost! Just swap Danny with Waggy and work out how to use the Caps lock key... I think that the reason that N'Guessan isn't played in as many games is because: 1) Although he is skillful, he can be extremely lazy and doesn't track back as much as he should and 2)He is very hit and miss and only looks like playing when he is interested. Which are of course two of the main reasons why he should play center forward! Doesn't have to track back and is always 'interested' when he has the ball in and around the box! The third reason is that he makes a decent target man and has a good first touch. Talking control of the ball and making a couple of yards, if only for a second or two, is priceless if you are in the box. Play him on the wing and although he still has the control he is 30 - 40 yards out and nowhere near as effective...

BoneDog Posted 29 March 2010 Posted 29 March 2010 I would go with this, but on the right I would take any of Gallagher, Adams or N'Guessan (just put N'Guessan in cos I like his style). And if Berner is available I would stick him in instead of Powell. Oh, and obviously we would be playing football on the deck, none of that dull ineffective long ball shite. Everytime we have played attractive passing football it has been effective (QPR away, Newcastle and the first 30 minutes against Cov are obvious examples).

Think Oakley should be dropped. Nguessan should come into the side, either for Waghorn up top, or Gallagher on the wing. Dyer should stay, hes been great recently. Will Vaughan be fit?
