mmarkie Posted 27 March 2010 Posted 27 March 2010 Weale Solano Hobbs© Morrison Berner Spearing King Wellens N'guessan Waghorn Dyer Thoughts?
shiv Posted 27 March 2010 Posted 27 March 2010 I'd go back to 4-4-2 for this game. Weale Solano Morrison Hobbs © Berner N'Guessan King Wellens Dyer Gallagher Waghorn
The Doctor Posted 27 March 2010 Posted 27 March 2010 Weale Solano Hobbs© Morrison Berner Spearing King Wellens N'guessan Waghorn Dyer Thoughts? looking good but there is still little hope of oakley being dropped. Would probably swap waghorn for gallagher and play n'guessan down the middle.
ousefox Posted 27 March 2010 Posted 27 March 2010 Weale Solano Hobbs© Morrison Berner Spearing King Wellens N'guessan Waghorn Dyer Thoughts? Can't argue with that. I think N'Guessan definately deserves a run in the team and after hearing about how poor Oakley was today, I think Spearing should be given a go in his position.
flanimal Posted 27 March 2010 Posted 27 March 2010 ..............................................................Weale Solano Morrison Hobbs Berner/Powell N'Guessan King Wellens Dyer ........................................Gallagher Waghorn That is the best we can do. Or, rest Waghorn, play a 4-3-3 with Spearring in for Oakley, and N'Guessan down the middle. He has to get a go, he showed he is quality.
Guest ttfn Posted 27 March 2010 Posted 27 March 2010 Weale Solano Morrison Hobbs Powell/anybody who is not McGivern Spearing King Adams N'Guessan Waghorn Dyer Please god let James Vaughan get fit soon. I said when he got here he was a crock who we shouldn't depend on, but it's got to the point now that with Fryatt out and Waghorn often ineffective, we need another forward. Would be good to see him get off the bench to shake things up after an hour. I wasn't there today, but if what is being said about Brown is true, he should never play for the club again. We pay his wages. Calling the fans wankers is signing his own transfer request imo. Also, I think he's total pants anyway. Part of defending is being able to pass the ball to a team mate, and he just can't do that (as I've said before, Kisnorbo is better than him in every aspect, even passing). Never used to like Morrison until this season, but he's better than that bald cunny. As far as I'm concerned, Brown being a dickhead today is just an excuse never to have to watch him chip balls to the opponents' back four again
flanimal Posted 27 March 2010 Posted 27 March 2010 Brown has single-handedly shit on his own sandwich. Get rid. Even if he was good, I don't want any player here who doesn't respect the clubs and fans. He better apologise, play better, or get loaned to nonleague.

Takes a footballer to make a pass.
lcfcsam Posted 27 March 2010 Posted 27 March 2010 Weale Solano Hobbs Morrison Berner/Powell Spearing Wellens King Gallagher Waghorn Dyer Oakley and Brown should lose their placed due to todays debacle. Most likely though Oakley will remain because Pearson rarely drops him. Would like to see more of Adams as well but don't think he'sup to starting against Cardiff.
David Guiza Posted 27 March 2010 Posted 27 March 2010 Weale McGivern/Powell if there's still no chance of Berner Morrison Hobbs © Solano Dyer King Spearing Wellens N'Guessan Waghorn Subs Logan Powel/Mcgivern Gallagher Howard Kermit Adams Neilson
Karljohn Posted 28 March 2010 Posted 28 March 2010 Shakespeare said Bruno is still a week away so assuming Spearing can fill in at left back Weale Solano Hobbs Morro Spearing Dyer King Wellens N'Guessan Waghorn Vaughan (apparantly he's fit) Subs Gallagher, Wayn(ker) Brown, Logan, Adams, Frankie Howard, Kermit the Frog, Invisible Man Oakley. Powell will need a week to recover. Why bother with too many defenders, attack attack attack......
calum_lcfc Posted 28 March 2010 Posted 28 March 2010 Weale Nobby Hobbs Morrison Berner (if fit) or Powell N'Gussen Wellens King Dyer Howard Waghorn Most people will disagree with Howard probably but all we had for the second half against cov all game at Reading apart from Dyers runs and yesterday is the long ball so doesn't it make sense to play the long ball to a big man to flick on to Waggy
Candidcamera Posted 28 March 2010 Posted 28 March 2010 Weale Solano Morrison Hobbs Powell Oakley Wellens King Gallagher Dyer Waghorn I would go as far to say that unless we pick up injuries or players come back we should stabilise with this formation. Spearing and Vaughan plus Watson may get in when fit. Berner and Fryatt would definately get in if fit.

Candidcamera Posted 28 March 2010 Posted 28 March 2010 I was thinking of Bruce and wrote Watson. He could be useful in the run in. I have my doubts over Brown keeping his nerve and his passing is woeful.
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 28 March 2010 Posted 28 March 2010 Unless I've been deaf, dumb and blind recently, I was wondering why James Vaughan hasn't been playing??? Plus, I hope Jay Spearing starts in the next match too.
Joe. Posted 28 March 2010 Posted 28 March 2010 Weale Solano --- Hobbs --- Morrison --- Berner Spearing --- Wellens --- King Gallagher --- Waghorn --- N'Guessan 1. Drop Brown, Solano is more than competent at right back. 2. Drop Oakley, he's underperformed all season. 3. Bring N'Guessan in, pace and goal threat. All in all though I think Pearson would see this as too much of an attacking lineup for what will ultimately be a tough away test for us. Avoiding defeat is crucial here.

That's definitely the team to play. The only question mark for me would be which 2 to pick out of Dyer, N'Guessan and Gallagher, Dyer has been one of our best players recently, does he deserve to be dropped? What are the chances of Berner being fit?
Guest Mee-9 Posted 28 March 2010 Posted 28 March 2010 Weale Solano Hobbs Morrison Berner (If fit, if not Chrissy Powell) Spearing King Wellens Dyer Vaughan Waghorn
Joe. Posted 28 March 2010 Posted 28 March 2010 That's definitely the team to play. The only question mark for me would be which 2 to pick out of Dyer, N'Guessan and Gallagher, Dyer has been one of our best players recently, does he deserve to be dropped? What are the chances of Berner being fit? I toyed with a host of combinations. Waghorn is the only guaranteed pick I'd say. I think Gallagher's creativity is important personally, and then I really wouldn't mind who got the nod where Dyer and N'Guessan are concerned. Both similar players with the ability to get themselves on the scoresheet and create. On reflection I'd probably say it would be harsh to drop Dyer if we're going with the 4-3-3. But please, if things aren't going well, bring on N'Guessan. It's been proven that bringing on Howard has had little to no effect this season so far.
atw88 Posted 28 March 2010 Posted 28 March 2010 You've picked the wrong time to come and play us, hah. Chris Burke > everyone
dandannieldanok Posted 28 March 2010 Posted 28 March 2010 We needed fighters, people 100% committed to the cause. From Vaughan's feeble efforts in his only substitute appearance so far, I'd rather we sticked with the likes of Waghorn, who I reckon is a better player regardless.
Guest Posted 28 March 2010 Posted 28 March 2010 You've picked the wrong time to come and play us, hah. Chris Burke > everyone Unless I'm very much mistaken, we would have played you by now had you lot learned how to use the undersoil heating. We didn't pick it, it was forced on us by your ineptitude.
