Lillehamring Posted 17 April 2010 Posted 17 April 2010 Leave off you fool, Luton Watford is a fierce rivalry fans do act differently for games like that believe it or not. This is Watford - Leicester! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So it was pretty much how I predicted this incident, one fan being hassled/ejected for doing fvck all wrong and other fans getting themselves in trouble for sticking up for him, fair play to them. It's pretty much common fact that our police and steward numbers are up there with the whole country even if as Lisa said there have been less incidents like today. And as for my original point, I fully stand by it. Fans being able to blast cheerio and gloat at a opposing fan facing a fine/ban yet struggle to muster a simple chant in favour of their own team as was the case in the 1st half, it's pretty pathetic really. which makes it even worse... the majority of incidents that lead to ejections are unlikely to be as 'innocent' as this 'misunderstanding', and over time it has become the accepted form of address in this situation, the fact that you can post your 'original point' without knowing what happened would suggest that the majority of fans in the ground that sang cheerio didn't know either - would you prefer fans to not sing until thye've checked the highlights to make sure their chants are valid? of course not. just because a few 'unbiased' watford fans suggest it was innocent doesn't mean that it was. 'cheerio' is just a silly piss take, there are many many worse chants than this to get self-righteous about.

Hugo Sanchez Posted 17 April 2010 Posted 17 April 2010 This Tommeh seriously needs to get a new hobby, everything at football is wrong for him. Why bother ? It looked like from where i was ( THE KOP ) That Watford had kicked off and someone got thrown out and we took the piss and got on with the rest of our lives. Why don't you run a marathon and get the watford fans to donate money to pay for his fine ?
scinnell Posted 17 April 2010 Posted 17 April 2010 Haha shut up you moron and get a life. It was a bit of banter.
