Lillehamring Posted 19 April 2010 Posted 19 April 2010 killed his wife, attacked his mum and his sister? nice guy
FoxyPV Posted 19 April 2010 Posted 19 April 2010 Fvck him - killing his wife. My heart fvcking bleeds for the wankers who do this.
Finnegan Posted 20 April 2010 Posted 20 April 2010 Wow, some immense sensitivity there boys. Nice. You don't have a clue what happened or what might have been wrong with the bloke; I didn't see the world calling Chris Bennoit a willy puller en masse - it was generally regarded as a real human tragedy. Not for one moment suggesting this man is innocent or was for definite seriously ill but I'm guessing ya'll don't know better than I from the extent of this article?
The Doctor Posted 20 April 2010 Posted 20 April 2010 Not suprising. The bloke must have been devestated at losing his wife and being accused of killing her.

Craig Posted 20 April 2010 Posted 20 April 2010 Not suprising. The bloke must have been devestated at losing his wife and being accused of killing her. Venezuelan Federal Police Chief Wilmer Flores said Valero was arrested after police found the body of his 20-year-old wife in a hotel in Valencia. Valero left the hotel room around dawn on Sunday and allegedly told security that he had killed Jennifer Viera, Flores said.Flores told state television that police found three stab wounds on Viera's body. Poor bloke.

Chris Benoit was a willy puller for what he did. Hmmm took too many 'roids and wrecked his head then kills his wife and kids - my sympathy abounds.

Breaking my 5 year duck of not posting on here. However, I feel the need to comment on this topic. I have to say, he knew what he was doing. He murdered his wife and attacked both his mother and sister. I've been suffering from mental illnesses for a while now. However, I still know right from wrong. I have two mental illnesses and sometimes it can be pretty difficult to live with. However, despite the fact I may have problems just like Valero, I've never thought of killing anyone, especially those close to me. Suffering from mental illness myself I can understand certain aspects of his problems. Though I have no sympathy. Having a mental illness does not give you a license to commit murder. The absentation here does not help matters. He admitted his guilt. He admitted that he did it. As a sufferer from mental health issues, I find it insulting that some people can just ignore what someone has done and use mental illness as an excuse. It's disparagingly obvious that we don't need people to think for us or make excuses, we already know right from wrong.... generally I'd like to think.
BoneDog Posted 21 April 2010 Posted 21 April 2010 Just a quick point on Benoit. He didn't murder his family, someone else did and then they killed him.
Finnegan Posted 21 April 2010 Posted 21 April 2010 Nor does having one mental illness give you grounds to making sweeping generalizations about the rest of the masses of the global population who are psychologically or neurologically ill given the absolutely gargantuan spectrum in disorders and disabilities. I've spent years living with social anxiety and depression and I still have barely only the faintest understanding of, say, the eating disorder one of my closest friends struggles with and then you're talking about illnesses with many similarities. I'm not trying to one-up you or have some sort of I'm Fucked Up pissing-contest but at the same time, unless you're a psychiatrist and unless you actually know Valero well then making judgements about his well being or his state of mind are entirely invalid - instead of thinking yourself some sort of shrink because you have a diagnosis to your name, you should know not to judge more than anyone. There is no "us", it's not a uniformed march of persons with issues, it's the garbled mess of the human psyche and it's produced some strange deviations from "normalcy." As for whether or not he is a complete toolbag, eh, I'm not saying he isn't and I'm certainly - as I said - not saying he's innocent. I just don't really like to see everyone jump on the Hate Bandwagon uninformed, because I find statements like so: Chris Benoit was a willy puller for what he did. Hmmm took too many 'roids and wrecked his head then kills his wife and kids - my sympathy abounds. Really, cringeworthily obtuse.
Fox You Forest Posted 21 April 2010 Posted 21 April 2010 Just a quick point on Benoit. He didn't murder his family, someone else did and then they killed him. Lets hear it then... and Youtube is not a credible source.
FoxyPV Posted 21 April 2010 Posted 21 April 2010 On June 25, 2007, police entered Benoit's home on a "welfare check" after several missed appointments, leading to concerns.[98] The officers discovered the bodies of Benoit, his wife Nancy, and their 7-year-old son Daniel at around 2:30 p.m. EDT.[99] Upon investigating, no additional suspects were sought by authorities.[100] It was determined that Benoit had committed the murders.[101]Over a three day period, Benoit had killed his wife and son before he hanged himself.[14][15] His wife was bound before the killing. Benoit's son was drugged and likely unconscious before Benoit strangled him.[102] Benoit then committed suicide with a weight machine.[101] WWE canceled the scheduled three hour long live Raw show on June 25, and replaced the broadcast version with a tribute to his life and career, featuring his past matches, segments from the Hard Knocks: The Chris Benoit Story DVD, and comments from wrestlers and announcers.[103] However, once the details of the murder-suicide became apparent, WWE quickly and quietly began distancing itself from the wrestler by removing merchandise and no longer mentioning him. Toxicology reports released on July 17, 2007 revealed that at their time of death, Nancy had three different drugs in her system: Xanax, hydrocodone, and hydromorphone, all of which were found at the therapeutic rather than toxic levels. Daniel was found to have Xanax in his system, which led the chief medical examiner to believe that he was sedated before he was murdered. Benoit was found to have Xanax, hydrocodone, and an elevated level of testosterone, caused by a synthetic form of the hormone, in his system. The chief medical examiner attributed the testosterone level to Benoit possibly being treated for a deficiency caused by previous steroid abuse or testicular insufficiency. There was no indication that anything in Benoit's body contributed to his violent behavior that led to the murder-suicide, concluding that there was no "roid-rage" involved.[104] Prior to the murder-suicide, Benoit had been given illegal steroids not in compliance with WWE's Talent Wellness Program in February 2006. Benoit received nandrolone and anastrozole. During the investigation into steroid abuse, it was revealed that other wrestlers had also been given steroids.[105][106] After the double-murder suicide, former wrestler Christopher Nowinski contacted Michael Benoit, father of Chris Benoit, suggesting that years of trauma to his son's brain may have led to his actions. Tests were conducted on Benoit's brain by Julian Bailes, the head of neurosurgery at West Virginia University, and results showed that "Benoit's brain was so severely damaged it resembled the brain of an 85-year-old Alzheimer's patient."[107] He was reported to have had an advanced form of dementia, similar to the brains of four retired NFL players who had suffered multiple concussions, sank into depression, and harmed themselves or others. Bailes and his colleagues concluded that repeated concussions can lead to dementia, which can contribute to severe behavioral problems.[108] Benoit's father suggests that brain damage may have been the leading cause of the crime.[109] He also confirmed that his son was quietly cremated, but what was done with the ashes is not public knowledge.[110] The jury's out on the steriods - one says that a deficiency caused by the abuse of steriods may have caused him to kill his family and another says no 'roid rage'.
Finnegan Posted 21 April 2010 Posted 21 April 2010 The jury's out on the steriods - one says that a deficiency caused by the abuse of steriods may have caused him to kill his family and another says no 'roid rage'. That doesn't the mean jury is out. It means they accept that steroid abuse may have harmed him previously but that he was not, at the time of the incident, on steroids. The man's brain was a mangled mess from serial concussions, he was a complete wreck.
