big blue balls Posted 11 May 2010 Posted 11 May 2010 well...congratulations to the seasiders...looks like we will be beating them rather than forest at wembley.
flanimal Posted 11 May 2010 Posted 11 May 2010 Without DJ, they are a different team. Their defence seems shakey as well. But well done to them. Serves Nottingham Forest right. Can't stand Billy Davies!
CupidStunt Posted 11 May 2010 Posted 11 May 2010 lmfao it gives us a little more hope after seeing that performance by Blackpool, i gave them no chance before the game, similar sort of odds to what i would give us tomorrow, but just goes to show, anything can happen absolutely outstanding, and well done blackpool
Tinman Posted 11 May 2010 Posted 11 May 2010 Que sara sara, whatever will be will be, all hail the Leicester loanee, que sara sara...
bluefox9er Posted 11 May 2010 Posted 11 May 2010 well...congratulations to the seasiders...looks like we will be beating them rather than forest at wembley. I don't get it...how can Holloway, an imbecile take a team to a play off final?? If we can somehow miraculously beat Cardiff I'd love to see Holloway's face after we beat Blackpool..his misery a million times over will never compare to how he made me feel when he relegated us to Div 3.

If this happened it would be asbolute bliss.
Chairman of the Bored Posted 11 May 2010 Posted 11 May 2010 Hollowhead is better as the under dog with a small club. To be fair, he was given some rubbish to work with at LCFC...(note to self) let's not go over that one again. Fair play to him tonight. Nothing against him really. Glad they beat F***** though. Just don't want the same thing to happen to us tomorrow.
LoughboroughFox Posted 11 May 2010 Posted 11 May 2010 Thankyou so much Blackpool FC for making my life so great at the mo, living in Loughborough i have a fair few Nothing-ham fans who thought they were guaruntees for the playoffs, ive had nothing but shit for ages!!! but all goods things come to those who wait! and boy, my fingers are working overtime!!!!!! ps sorry about the spelling, 2 many carlsberg exports
nffc_Galidia Posted 11 May 2010 Posted 11 May 2010 No complaints, the best team won. fantastic occasion though and good to see so many of us stop behind and applaud Billy and the lads on a great season. Over to you lads for tomorrow.
BoneDog Posted 11 May 2010 Posted 11 May 2010 No complaints, the best team won. fantastic occasion though and good to see so many of us stop behind and applaud Billy and the lads on a great season. Over to you lads for tomorrow. Yeah I noticed the Forest fans showing their respect. I felt for them a bit. I think Gunter had a shot around the 90th minute and Forest fans still clapped his effort even though they must of been feeling pretty crap. Shocked me a bit cos I was expecting groans when it went wide! Bad luck, but I admit I wanted Blackpool to win cos I thought that if we get to Wembley we have a slightly better chance against Blackpool.
Fosse Fox Posted 11 May 2010 Posted 11 May 2010 Without DJ, they are a different team. Their defence seems shakey as well. But well done to them. Serves Nottingham Forest right. Can't stand Billy Davies! And what exactly is it about the wee Jock that irks you? I'd always had the midget down as a moral giant but I'm always open to black propaganda
mr whippy Posted 12 May 2010 Posted 12 May 2010 When we get to the final and DJ has been recalled, on the day of the final can we dress him as Filbert The Fox and parade him around the Wenbley pitch in front of the Blackpool players and fans.
flanimal Posted 12 May 2010 Posted 12 May 2010 And what exactly is it about the wee Jock that irks you? I'd always had the midget down as a moral giant but I'm always open to black propaganda I don't know to be honest. It's basically irrational dislike. I just don't like him! He's probably a lovely man.
msc_lcfc Posted 12 May 2010 Posted 12 May 2010 When Dobbie came on and scored that goal it completely changed them. Then DJ of course took care of the rest. Who do you all think could be that player for us tomorrow? I'd like to see Fryatt go off in Cardiff personally.

Pegosteve Posted 12 May 2010 Posted 12 May 2010 Essentially Holloway is a decent guy, he cannot possibly take all the blame for our relegation, most of that blame has to be held at Mandric's door. I do think he does better with fewer resources, what he has done at Blackpool is remarkable and what hs he spent 800K?? Charlie Adam was an insperational sigining and his loan siginings appear to have been shrewd. He has basically a team of young on the up players, some castoffs (DJ and Dobbie) and Charlie Adam and he has managed to motivate them. He has never disrespected us since leaving so I say well done to him, I would be quite concerned if we do meet them in the final, it's just one of those fairytale stories that you don't want to be on the receiving end of!

Over to you lads for tomorrow. I was so jealous of your fans yesterday,so loud, especially at the start.

At last a touch of class as far as Holloway goes, he can't take the blame for taking us down that lies with Manderic, Allenand underperforming players, Mandy is atoning for his part and now we seem to be going in the right direction. Ian Holloway has been graceful about Leicester and our fans since he was sacked. Just a case of wrong place wrong time 'it happens". So I am on the well done to Holloway side well done to Blackpool, and I hope to God or anyone else listening we can go to Cardiff tonight and play without fear a bit like Blackpool did. I think NP is a great manager and a top man however he could not get DJ to score for us even though he tried, that is because DJ came to us at the wrong time in the wrong circumstances and he was to be our superstar, he could not take the pressure, now at Blackpool under no pressure (apart from police enquiries) he is scoring goals again. So rant over don't blame Holloway blame the whole club in which he was 1 part, try and get over it, it probably did us good in the long run now concentrate on winning tonight and the now not the past. If offended anyone, it was not meant to. Cardiff 0 LCFC 3 C'MON

Bettsj2 Posted 12 May 2010 Posted 12 May 2010 Maybe you should take your leicester blinkers off. If by some miracle we get through tonight (dont think it will happen), Blackpool WILL beat us at Wembley. It's a horrible thing but that is the reality and with this in mind, I'll be quite relieved WHEN Cardiff beat us tonight.

These are stupid comments from you IMO for 2 reasons. 1. Mr Holloway has done a fantastic, unbelievable job at Blackpool regardless of what people think of him. 2. VERY few teams who lose the 1st leg of a Championship playoffs go on to win the tie, infact I carn't think of any. (Just to cheer you up)
FoxyPV Posted 12 May 2010 Posted 12 May 2010 Just watched the match on SS1 - Blackpool were awesome and Dobbie was the difference - he was outstanding. DJ's 2nd goal
AyewJoking Posted 12 May 2010 Posted 12 May 2010 Have to say well done to Blackpool and if we cant be in the final I hope they win it.

maddog Posted 12 May 2010 Posted 12 May 2010 So funny watching that match last night. The Sky commentators kept calling Dj Campbell special, it's the Dj Campbell show, he's a natural finisher! How Respect to IH, especially after his interview when he said i'm just a football manager and people keep calling me a joker. And Blackpool were amazing last night, passed the ball around along the floor so well, and Djs second goal was absolutely outstanding. Dj seems like a nice guy in his post match interview aswell, and if he's scoring goals of that quality every week we should keep him.
