Good to hear we're playing the ball on the ground more and starting from the back. Encouraging signs that.

Thanks for the reports lads :)

My eyes hurt :(

Quite like it actually, be very visible in the depths of winter, surprised we even needed the lights last night.

Is that after DJ's goal? Looks like at least some of the squad are talking to him if that is the case...

Sorrelite and Joe - Thanks for that....

If either of you have the time, how did the midfield line up, particularly King and Wellens. As far as the commentary went Wellens appeared to run the show, King barely got a mention...

How did that work out with Gallagher in the hole, both he and Wellens trying to run the show?

DJ started out wide, how did that work out first half?

Anyone else impress?

Sorry to be a pest, but I am excited by the new regime. Trying to get away to go to Oxford on Saturday, if I make it I will let you know what I see / think...

You're right about King, he was never really in it from what I can remember. Wellens was always the one gathering the ball from deep, orchestrating in his usual way. On the Gallagher point, I can barely remember him doing anything other than scoring if I'm honest. Generally we were using Dyer wide left quite a lot in the first half so Gallagher wasn't getting a great deal of the ball.

DJ was all over first half. Honestly, I was amazed at what I was seeing. He looked much sharper than everybody else, showed some nice touches and was making positive runs throughout. I wouldn't say he was playing wide for the whole time - he was used as a link-up man to provide width moreso in the first half, but he was still predominantly playing through the middle as far as I can remember.

As I said before, him and Kennedy were the main two for me. Logan did well when he came on, N'Guessan looked sharp and the young players didn't shy away from anything. I'd also quite like it if we kept on Howard for another season after the reminder of his uses last night. There's plenty of room for him in this squad if Kermogant departs.

Oh, and seeing the kit in flesh I think it's absolutely awful.

Thank you guys.

Just one question, do you rate Verma from what you saw?

Think the yellow kit looks smart actually.

After last nights display who looked sharper of the two keepers because from what I have heard Weale was shaky and Logan was very solid.

Paul Gallagher is No. 7. Also there doesn't seem to be any names on the back??

Still only a 2-1 win against a league 2 side. Campbell seems to be on city 1st team on August 7th , as he is scoring us some goals.

Extraordinary to read so much drooling about DJ when hardly anyone had a good word to say about him last season when Pearson's idea of giving him a chance was taking the piss. DJ has never had a proper break at City which is extraordinary considering how short of pace, goals and ideas we were on so many occasions.

Rubbish, we managed to finish 5th and were a penalty shoot-out away from Wembley on our first season back in the championship. We had plenty of pace, goals and ideas, you don't finish 5th otherwise.

If Sousa wants Campbell to be in his team then fair enough, it's a fresh start under a new manager, and as fans we have to trust the decision whichever way it goes. But Campbell has absolutely nothing to do with Leicester's season last season, we were perfectly successful without him.
