Edmund Posted 18 August 2010 Posted 18 August 2010 They could afford the ticket prices and a hat. I take it their team is losing. They don't look very happy.

AoWW Posted 18 August 2010 Posted 18 August 2010 They could afford the ticket prices and a hat. Which one's you?
davieG Posted 18 August 2010 Posted 18 August 2010 Which one's you? I don't know they all look the same, miserable buggers could be anyone of them, although I've never had a bowler hat just a flat cap and I did try a pipe back in the day, oh and some snuff.
AndyBrew Posted 18 August 2010 Posted 18 August 2010 For me the mrs and my lad to go I don't see much change if any out of £100 for each home game, I never really thought about until you buggers started up
Alexikokopops Posted 18 August 2010 Posted 18 August 2010 I remember when a bag of crisps was 25p standard. I was talking about this the other day! When I were a lad it were 27p for a pack of Walkers. Went down Tesco last week and it cost £45! RIDICULOUS.

Don't get me going on London prices. I got stung in that WH Smiths in Waterloo station. Alton Towers is the worst though. They hike up the prices by 1000%
Tilley Posted 18 August 2010 Posted 18 August 2010 A Boots meal deal costs more in London than it does in Leicester. Just wanted you all to know that.
broughtonblue Posted 18 August 2010 Author Posted 18 August 2010 Ok, I started this thread as a serious subject and on the whole there seems a lot of people who not only agree with me but are infact in the same situation. As the thread has gone off the subject a bit I thought I might add this. I had a 'Eureka' moment last night! As football is costing me an ARM AND A LEG at the minute why don't i make a point. Chop off an arm and leg, get in for £60 as a disabled supporter and take one of my kids as my carer for nothing! Not only am I a winner but I won't be any trouble to the stewards (as in other threads) by standing up and clapping. Really hard to clap with only one hand!!!
