An Italian side, a Scarlets side very much in transition (albeit on the better side of 'in development') and a poorer French outfit. Best of luck to them. They've got some phenomenal talents in the likes of Croft, Waldorm and Youngs and I love watching the Tuilagi's play. I'd like to see Turnbull, Priestland and Stoddart get some reward when Gatland puts his squad out in a few weeks time, they've been at the heart of all of the "great tries" the Scarlets have chalked up this season and it'd be nice for them to get some recognition.

Finnegan Posted 16 January 2011 Posted 16 January 2011 I really want Henson to get his shit together - but hearing about him's starting to get irritating. See he kinda has this attitude that he's only got a play a few games and it'll get him back in the fold and it's not really good for squad morale. But at the same time... he's sort of right. I mean all the pundits are saying he doesn't deserve it but it isn't a coincidence that he was playing well in both 05 and 08 and we walked the Grand Slams. Fact of the matter is the boy's a complete genius, not just creatively but his defensive presence is almost second to none. Consistently makes O'Driscoll look like a complete punk. If only he had BO'D's work ethic. Or natural charisma.

Honestly no idea why a Super side have come in for him. Pretty sure it was because there was some sort of recruitment embargo in the early days of your side, wasn't it? That's why you picked up a fair few overseas players.

We have put Cipriani on a media ban already to try to get him to work hard and focus

Finnegan Posted 26 January 2011 Posted 26 January 2011 Yeah I know. He went over in a sulk because he wasn't getting picked regularly for Wales. But the main reason he wasn't getting picked regularly for Wales was that he was playing in England, Gatland advised him to come home at the end of his contract and so he waited it out. ... then decided to go to Australia. To be honest, we're not weak in the back row anyway so he probably still wouldn't be starting now, especially with Lydiate and Warburton coming through.
