The Doctor Posted 17 October 2010 Author Posted 17 October 2010 yes! 27-10 to the tigers. tom crofts try. 34-10
The Doctor Posted 17 October 2010 Author Posted 17 October 2010 6th try. Matt Smith. 46-10 finners your boys are getting absolutely destroyed.
The Doctor Posted 17 October 2010 Author Posted 17 October 2010 biarritz have had a good second half, 35-8 up after 3-3 at half time. & full time at welford road, 46-10 to the tigers.
Guest Bilo Posted 17 October 2010 Posted 17 October 2010 Pull your pants up Scarlets, that was an absolute punishment. After some poor performances at the start of the season, Northampton and especially Exeter, the Tigers do appear to be getting into their stride now. Big win and a big opportunity now to win the group. Perpignan will be tough games though.
Finnegan Posted 17 October 2010 Posted 17 October 2010 Cracking opening try but the gulf of class between the two showed in the second half. It's very early days for a Scarlets side undergoing huge rebuilding with a lot of youth and inexperience in the ranks. Given how close the club were to going under a few years ago it's been a slow walk back from the darkness and it's easy to forget we're only in the Heineken Cup this season because Cardiff winning the Amlin gave Wales an extra place. Very disappointed with the severity of the second half collapse but even so, some positives to take an overall a bright start to this season. I expect us to finish lower-top half in the Magners this year and compete for second in the group. Once more with feeling: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t1rDxuYe3H4 Clinical from the Tigers, though. They'll be real heavyweights in Europe this year.

Finnegan Posted 17 October 2010 Posted 17 October 2010 Absolutely mate, yeah, really was good to watch. If you haven't already, watch the one I posted on the first page of the thread. We can't defend for shit but we've scored some wonderful tries so far this season.
Finnegan Posted 22 October 2010 Posted 22 October 2010 FINALLY!!! Been all over Cardiff Blues for the whole game, two disallowed tries. Then scored another brilliant try. Stephen Jones chips it cross-field, Lamont goes up for a big leap, volley-balls it down to Priestland who races on and scores. Fantastic. Video to come tomorrow hopefully!
Finnegan Posted 24 October 2010 Posted 24 October 2010 Good win for the Tigers, Bath are definitely no mugs.
Sparky Posted 24 October 2010 Posted 24 October 2010 Good win for the Tigers, Bath are definitely no mugs. Quality try, who televises the Magners league? Keep saying to myself that ill watch a few games then forget all about it.
Finnegan Posted 25 October 2010 Posted 25 October 2010 Quality try, who televises the Magners league? Keep saying to myself that ill watch a few games then forget all about it. I watched that one live off the BBC website, it's a mixture of the BBC and S4C now - Setanta only get highlights as BBC Alba (Scotland) and BBC Northern Ireland have joined a consortium of sorts to buy their share. In short, it's a mish-mash really. You have to keep half an eye on the BBC website or just have a quick check on either S4C or BBC Wales/Scotland/NI if you know there's a game on that you think is likely to be on TV. Don't be put off by S4C, if you're on freeview or digital I think you can red-button some English commentary. It's kinda hard finding a list of up-coming televised fixtures, I'm trying to look for you. Obviously this (list at the bottom of the link) is out of date but it gives you an example of how much is getting on TV and the sort of times to look out for games: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/rugby_union/8845781.stm Edit, nevermind: http://www.magnersleague.com/matchcentre/fixtures_list.php There you go mate haha. List of where the games are going to be and you can click the video links to get highlights of past games.
FoxyPV Posted 6 November 2010 Posted 6 November 2010 Millenium looks half empty. Pyrotcehnics before rugby matches now .... whatever next? Aussies by between 5 - 10
ScouseFox Posted 6 November 2010 Posted 6 November 2010 Big call in the England game, NZ given a try when it looked like he may have been in touch, benefit of the doubt given to the attacking team. Eng 0-5 NZ Edit; Carter kicks conversion, 0-7.
ScouseFox Posted 6 November 2010 Posted 6 November 2010 The first of many, no doubt. If you were talking about England, then yes, 12-0 now Good drive to the line, converted, 14-0 after 20 minutes.
ScouseFox Posted 6 November 2010 Posted 6 November 2010 Oh yeah, England are nowhere near the standard of NZ, not many would have expected anything but a defeat for us today, just hope it can stay competitive and not turn into a mauling.
Finnegan Posted 6 November 2010 Posted 6 November 2010 We should be 12 - 7 up. Jones missing a couple of kicks you'd expect him to put over. 6 - 7 half time. Bit cagey. Australia definitely have another couple of gears.
FoxyPV Posted 6 November 2010 Posted 6 November 2010 Good second half performance by England. Wales were average however showed well once Shanklin was sin binned and desserved their try. Some better kicking by Jones and it may have been more of a game. C'mon Ireland!!
Finnegan Posted 6 November 2010 Posted 6 November 2010 With only free first choice backs on the pitch (not including Hook given his position) as well as with injuries in the pack we were clearly never going to do the Australians. They're like Jekyl and Hide to be fair. Their backs are superb, possibly the best in the world, but watching them scrummage was like watching amateurs.
FoxyPV Posted 6 November 2010 Posted 6 November 2010 Hook put in some tackle to stop Genia going over for a try. On a side note - did you see the tasches on the Aussies? Loving it!!
Sparky Posted 8 November 2010 Posted 8 November 2010 Looking forward to Tigers vs Australia tomorrow night. The game against South Africa last year provided a good game and hoping tomorrow is the same.
