MPH Posted 3 September 2010 Posted 3 September 2010 Hi guys travelling in USA for a few weeks does anyone know if the Pompey league game is being shown on TV out there I am sure it will be in some capacity but it all depends on what state you will be in and where as to the availabilty of live footy. My advice would be to go to the fox soccer website and do a search of their live games, work out the location you will be in on the day of the game and then start searching for sports bars ( or friends and relatives!) That show live soccer in that area.
Floridafox Posted 3 September 2010 Posted 3 September 2010 It's on Fox Soccer PLUS (a premium TV channel, costing extra $) 3pm Eastern Time! see this link http://msn.foxsports.com/foxsoccerplus/tvschedule
purpleronnie Posted 3 September 2010 Posted 3 September 2010 Gotta love the sports channels over hear, there's so much footy on.

Unit Posted 4 September 2010 Posted 4 September 2010 There's a lad from NYC kipping on my settee downstairs, i've known him for years but he's still a bellend americanscott
Winchester Posted 4 September 2010 Posted 4 September 2010 Finding a pub or sports bar type place is the best bet then! Yeah, better hope it's in a bigger city, and at a proper pub. Even some of the really good spots rarely show anything apart from the top divisions of england, spain, germany and italy. Finding a pub or sports bar type place is the best bet then! LE15 Posted 4 September 2010 Author Posted 4 September 2010 Cheers for the help will be in Boston so should be able to find a pub somewhere with it on
Smudge Posted 4 September 2010 Posted 4 September 2010 Here's a few to choose from Good idea to call first to make sure they are screening the game, also ask if they definitely have Fox soccer PLUS, That is channel 621 on Directv
BruinFox Posted 4 September 2010 Posted 4 September 2010 Yes I recently went to a PUB with a mate who swore he had called and it was on. After trudging all the way out there and missing the first half while they f**cked around with the satellite - told us sorry we don't have that channel. Best stick with a pub that shows a lot of football.
