stix Posted 7 September 2010 Posted 7 September 2010 If people want to get drunk before 12:00 they can quite easily train at 8 with beers then 9am arrival for wetherspoons If people wanted to fight they would find a way Is that your plan then ARAB? Going on the fosse boys comments about starting on the ale at midday for the Reading game i think your starting abit late! Unless of course all single measures are to be replaced by doubles? and only shots of absinthe are allowed for midday kick offs.....

Corky Posted 7 September 2010 Posted 7 September 2010 I'm actually pleased it's an early kick-off, get home earlier
Guest ttfn Posted 7 September 2010 Posted 7 September 2010 Sousa in 'making a statement that this is his team' shocker!!!!! Who else picks the team then? Pearson would not be playing the same eleven as last season, people need to get that in to their heads. 'not Sousa's new vision of midfield mediocrity' You mean Sousa is trying to get a mediocre midfield? Really? Actually it would probably be better than we had last season. Who are themediocre midfield players that he has brought in to the club? It wasn't a judgment on the players Sousa has brought in - we haven't seen enough of them yet - it's his curious choices of the ones we already had - N'Guessan and Oakley are non-starters in 99.9% of people's books. As for the midfield mediocrity, I wasn't getting at the individuals, I was getting at Sousa's style. Swansea didn't play a progressive passing game last season, and on the (somewhat inconsistent) basis that we have got the ball on the deck this season we've been equally as ponderous and over-indulgent in possession. I don't have a problem with Sousa trying to pick his own team. Every manager is entitled to do that. It is the way that he seems to be intent on making a point in doing so, almost spitefully leaving out some of our better players to the detriment of the team. I appreciate that I'm in the minority, and that in reality I should be more patient with Sousa, but I've got a very bad feeling about this.
Mikey Posted 7 September 2010 Posted 7 September 2010 Not sure why you find it funny, have you seen these ? Can't see much action, but definitely still a hooligan rivalry. There quite recent. Sure if there wasn't police or security, it would be nasty. What about them? I'm not doubting the need for police and security, but what difference will an early kick off make?
