George Posted 5 September 2010 Posted 5 September 2010 Cov 2-0 Leicester. King with a brace. We should be too strong for you, on paper we are evenley matched. But we have been very good at home.
lavrentis Posted 5 September 2010 Posted 5 September 2010 4-0 win, we need a win and we'll get it. King hat trick.
montyw93 Posted 5 September 2010 Posted 5 September 2010 I'm going for another 1-1 I think , same as last year they'll take the lead in first half, we'll equalize in 2nd half and I think Fryatt or Howard will be the man to score!! Have we ever won at the Ricoh Arena btw?? Come on the foxes
Kilworthfox Posted 5 September 2010 Posted 5 September 2010 Cov are actually shit, I coudn't give a toss about a supposed rivalry, to me they are a terrible team from a crap city. Leicester really should be thinking of sorting out the defensive issues, introducing the 2 new(ish) faces and get their act together for that promotion push that we all expected at the start August. 4 games into the season is nothing, a better performance & 3 points is exactly what is needed if it starts at Cov great...

Terrible team, thats why were in the same division? Two evenly matched teams on paper IMO, if you still had Pearson then yeah I would say you were better. From what I seen the other week your two centre halves couldn't head a ball, big Clive Platt should thrive on that.
Guest Bilo Posted 5 September 2010 Posted 5 September 2010 We've never won at the Ricoh, are joint bottom with Cov starting well and us playing pretty poor stuff. All set up for another defeat but these are the circumstances under which we'll probably win, just to make life interesting.
Harborough__Fox Posted 5 September 2010 Posted 5 September 2010 anyone wanna sell me there cov ticket? ill pay double what its worth?
Matt Posted 5 September 2010 Posted 5 September 2010 anyone wanna sell me there cov ticket? ill pay double what its worth? They havn't sold out yet have they?

AoWW Posted 5 September 2010 Posted 5 September 2010 Hope this offer is still here tomorrow, i'll go to the ticket office and pick one up then flog it. I reckon if you give it the hard sell he'll pay more than double, tbh.
Bert Posted 5 September 2010 Posted 5 September 2010 2-0 Leicester. Weale Lamey Hobbs Morrison Berner Abe Wellens(23) due a goal King Waggy (81) Dyer Fryatt Baffling. If anyone's due a goal it's Fryatt.
The Doctor Posted 5 September 2010 Posted 5 September 2010 5-2 leicester (fryatt (2), dyer, hobbs, kennedy) we'll start slow and drop two behind before losing berner to injury, Kennedy comes on and creates a goal for Fryatt as we pull one back on the stroke of half time and in the second half cov will fall apart as we score two in 10 minutes (hobbs header + kennedy 25 yarder) before adding another 2 on the break as they push for the equaliser.
VampLCFC Posted 6 September 2010 Posted 6 September 2010 Wouldn't like to be in Mr. Sousa's shoes if we lose this! I'm predicting a scrappy 1-1, much like last year
James. Posted 6 September 2010 Posted 6 September 2010 Is this on TV is or has it just been brought forward due to the vicious rivalry between the clubs? This may be my first chance to see our new shit club in action.

Ric Flair Posted 6 September 2010 Posted 6 September 2010 I really want to be up for this game as it's Cov and I hate them more than I hate Peter Taylor and Dennis Wise combined, but I just feel deflated. Sousa scares me, I hope he has learned from the glaring mistakes he's made in his tenure so far and that the likes of King, Fryatt and Morrison are bought in for under performers like Oakley, Moreno and Howard. I rate Big Steve, but he is prone to 2 poor performances every 5 matches he plays and at 34 and becoming less and less mobile, we cannot afford that. Waghorn is briefly raised my spirits, but as i've not heard a single word out of Sousa regarding Waghorn, it makes me think he's not too chuffed he's signed and is more upset that his hero DJ has left us. It breaks my heart to think of a heavy defeat against Cov, i'd be in bits, but if it get's Sousa the tin tac then i'd take the hit for our long term future. 6-0 to Cov please.

I bet you'd of liked O'neil to get the boot after 5 games too, .....Fair enough Sousa has'nt exactly set the world alight so far but give him a fair chance a get behind the team.... 6-0 cov ?? don't be a plank
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 6 September 2010 Posted 6 September 2010 I think we have to score first. If we take the lead I think we will go and win, but if they score first, the heads might drop.
Ric Flair Posted 6 September 2010 Posted 6 September 2010 No I didn't want O'Neill out actually because I could see what he was trying to achieve at Leicester. Sousa has wholeheartedly trying to rip apart the foundations of our team under Pearson, which was Hobbs/Morrison, King and Fryatt. He also is refusing to accept any blame for things that are going wrong and alarmingly claiming he is making 'right' decisions. This will end in tears, it's better he goes now than in another 6 games when we are bottom of the league and pretty much relegated.
hackneyfox Posted 6 September 2010 Posted 6 September 2010 But he has sold DJ which is what NFP would have done and signed Waghorn which NFP wanted to do. He continues to play Weale (currently injured), Neilson, Hobbs, Berner, Wellens, Dyer, Nguessen, Howard How is that ripping out the foundations of NFP's team?

He continues to play Weale (currently injured), Neilson, Hobbs, Berner, Wellens, Dyer, Nguessen, Howard How is that ripping out the foundations of NFP's team? He is ripping apart the young players like Fryatt, Morrison and King. The 3 players who could build the foundations for this team for several years to come. I get the feeling, he is opposed to younger players and much prefers to go with experience where possible, except the experience of Oakley and Howard is proving useless. I know i'm causing a stir by spouting all this, so i'll stop until after the weekend. But Sousa will fail here, i'll bet everything I own on this.
The Doctor Posted 6 September 2010 Posted 6 September 2010 Fryatt and king on the bench? and Logan. And Oakley playing. Sousa has only really introduced Lamey, Moreno & Moussa to the first team squad. It's essentially the same team as under pearson, just a different style
tomtom Posted 6 September 2010 Posted 6 September 2010 And why do you want us to lose 6-0 ????? I'd be lie'ing if i said i was'nt a little worried about how things are going ,but i want us to WIN 6-0,..things start to click, players get to grips with the new formation and the club move forward under the new manager. You can't keep changing managers, you just need to look at the season we got relegated to see that
Bert Posted 6 September 2010 Posted 6 September 2010 The flair speaks sense. As soon as I knew sousa was coming in my heart sank. I mean no disrespect when I say this, but I personally don't think a foreign manager and Leicester City fit. Under pearson we were stable, and people knew what to expect. Now we, the fans don't even know what to expect.
