MC Prussian Posted 9 September 2010 Posted 9 September 2010 If they're so much better than us, why this obsession? It must've taken them ages roaming the web for Leicester City-related pictures and videos. It's a cringeworthy thread on a cringeworthy forum. Are Leicester fans in general too smart to sink that low? I think, deep inside, they all want to be LCFC fans.
Alexikokopops Posted 9 September 2010 Posted 9 September 2010 AARGHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. HE WAS EDUCATED IN COVENTRY!!!!!!!!!!! ROFL HAHAHA! This is the beauty of it all. My years of education in Coventry: 4 My years of education in Leicester, or even Leicestershire: 0 Yours, curtain wearing haircut inbred
Houdini Logic Posted 9 September 2010 Posted 9 September 2010 Coventry City 21,301 Coventry City 20,342 Coventry City 19,123 Coventry City 17,407 Coventry City 17,305 If I was a Coventry fan, shareholder, player - I would be really concerned about the marked decline in the last 5 years!
George Posted 9 September 2010 Posted 9 September 2010 What do you expect with us keep finishing 13th - 21st every season.
George Posted 9 September 2010 Posted 9 September 2010 Can I just ask a serious question. From this season onwards you finish mid table shite every year, what do you think you would average a season ? Considering in your Play Off season you averaged 23,900, I can't see it being too far off 18,000.
Guest Bilo Posted 9 September 2010 Posted 9 September 2010 Can I just ask a serious question. From this season onwards you finish mid table shite every year, what do you think you would average a season ? Considering in your Play Off season you averaged 23,900, I can't see it being too far off 18,000. We averaged 20,000 in our League One season. In all seriousness I think things would have to be pretty bad before they dropped below 20k regularly, stadium location is a big part of it. We're still in a pretty central location only spitting distance from Filbert Street, whereas if we had built thew Walkers a 15-20 minute bus ride from the city centre in a retail park miles away from any decent pubs we'd have similar attendances to yours really.

Yeh but in your League 1 season you were top of the league for the majority of it.
Houdini Logic Posted 9 September 2010 Posted 9 September 2010 To Coventry fans keeping the retro forum dream alive - we salute you It's not about how well a page reads, it's about how many words you can fit on it
George Posted 9 September 2010 Posted 9 September 2010 Relegation battles draw bigger crowds than mid table dross IMO. Also you haven't been constantly shit for the last 12 seasons, it's just been boring. Give me a Relegation battle over mid table any day in terms of excitement.

Also you haven't been constantly shit for the last 12 seasons, it's just been boring. Give me a Relegation battle over mid table any day in terms of excitement. That's what you usually have isn't it? Hasn't really seen you boost your attendances...
Lillehamring Posted 9 September 2010 Posted 9 September 2010 there's only so many random pictures you can find on the internet and post 'blah blah blah leicester blah blah' under it... come on cov fans try a bit harder than posting generic images of inbreds...
George Posted 9 September 2010 Posted 9 September 2010 The only real relegation battle we've had since being relegated was 07/08 season where the last 5 games drew bigger crowds than normal.
MC Prussian Posted 9 September 2010 Posted 9 September 2010 Yeh but in your League 1 season you were top of the league for the majority of it. Earlier on this season, you beat Derby 2-1, were top of the Championship (even though for a short period of time). And a spectacular 13'169 spectators in attendance. Talking about Coventry Logic.
Houdini Logic Posted 9 September 2010 Posted 9 September 2010 Yeh but in your League 1 season you were top of the league for the majority of it. I'm sure our first game in League 1 was a sell out
George Posted 9 September 2010 Posted 9 September 2010 12:15 Kick off, Live on Sky. Being on Sky affects the Avg attendance, likewise it did with yours against Reading, you got 4k less than normal.
MC Prussian Posted 9 September 2010 Posted 9 September 2010 12:15 Kick off, Live on Sky. Being on Sky affects the Avg attendance, likewise it did with yours against Reading, you got 4k less than normal. But I thought yours was a derby, albeit a minor one? Our recent results also didn't work in our favour, whereas you had a perfect start to the season.
