caz05 Posted 4 October 2010 Posted 4 October 2010 That's just a ridiculous comment, Howard might not have scored hatfuls for us but he's still got over 200 league goals, which isn't bad going. He gives his all every match, wins practically every header he goes up for and I think is one of the best passers in the team, as he brings it down, turns and usually plays some great through balls for the onrushing midfielders. His flick-ons might not look so aimless if Waghorn actually reacted to them or anticipated where they will go. De Vries was awful, Howard is the best target man I can remember us having since Heskey. He may lack pace but he's not geriatric as some seem to think, but I think we need to start looking for a long-term replacement for him and so that he does not have to play every game.
Guest ttfn Posted 4 October 2010 Posted 4 October 2010 Please can people stop talking about Michael Johnson? The fact that on paper it's a possibility will make it so much worse when it inevitably doesn't happen.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 4 October 2010 Posted 4 October 2010 Shaleum Logan would make sense, not sure if he's been mentioned yet. City fan I asked on Twitter says he's the only kid that Sven ever picked. Has been selected in their 25-man squad though.
Jackirius Posted 4 October 2010 Posted 4 October 2010 Sven will be tapping Man City up left, right and centre. He gave Mancini his debut at Sampdoria, took him to Lazio, advised him to come to Leicester back in 2000 and now Svennis is at Leicester, Roberto is at Man City and we all live happily ever after. Johnson Santa Cruz Given High fives. Are these just random names your pumping out or have the some logic behind them?
fox123 Posted 7 October 2010 Posted 7 October 2010 What's happened to David Bentley? Is he injured? He didn't play many games for Spurs last season and has an appearance in the League Cup this - worth an approach?
