I was just wondering with the new owners practically giving Sven license to spend, who else could we get? I reckon we could do with a Good Quality WInger and a solid holding midfielder. Possibly another striker and possibly a keeper. Dont get me wrong the squad we have is quite good, but there are gaps we need to fill if we want premiership football and to stay there. So heres my ideas: - As soon as january opens sign Davies permanently - Look intot the possibility of Kasper Scmiechel ( good keeper that will develop quickly into a top quality keeper) - I'd like to see Jay Spearing back at the walkers. - If the rumours are true i wouldnt disagree with the signings of Darius Vassell or Jason Roberts. - Also im gonna get slated for this but id welcome Heskey with open arms!!!! The thing is im not to sure on the winger front, i reckon we need one that can score aswell as assist. If my ideas are shite then let me know. These are only my opinions but i would like to spark a debate. So guys what do you lot reckon...........

Personally would be very disappointed if Vassell or Roberts rocked up here but I'd be happy enough if they came and then proved me wrong. Davies would be a mint signing but I'd be surprised if Villa let him go.

He'd have a point to prove seeing as 4 years ago he was in the england squad and know his location is unknown I reckon davies will depend on whether he enjoys his loan, if he does i could see it happening Schmicheal was a long shot but who else is there who would want to play for us
Jakemoore Posted 17 October 2010 Posted 17 October 2010 Delfounso plays almost everygame for Villa coming on off the bench so I doubt that would ever happen. I agree on the Heskey thing, he's playing well again. Spearing would be a great realistic signing, I watched him play in the Europe league game, and I turned to my dad and said 'for someone so young and inexperienced, he's completely controlling Liverpool' he looked like a young Gerrard in that match. I think Weale is fine in goal tbh. True we need more paice, how about Bannan from Villa? Young, quick left winger, with a great cross. Vasell, is he not dead yet?!?! Id love to get CD but I think he'd be very expensive, possibly too expensive. If we get promoted this season then we should look at signing Bellamy, would bs a great buy, not cheap though.

Jakemoore Posted 17 October 2010 Posted 17 October 2010 Taraabt's going nowhere for two years, he's only just signed for QPR. Rochina on loan would be quality though because we could play a 433 if needs be, and Sven knows everyone so I'm sure he could sweet talk Barcalona in to it.
