Floridafox Posted 11 November 2010 Posted 11 November 2010 With Robbie Savage now a popular member of our next opponents wondered if there's ever been a thread on players transferred to a team that loathed the individual only to take to him once he became one of theirs. Derby hated Savage with a passion when he was at Leicester but now seem to love the guy. Obvious example for us is David Speedie. After that dive in the Play-Off Final for Blackburn he was a deserved target of every Leicester fan's abuse. But he did pretty well for us most notably the Play-off Semi against Tranmere. Also have a sketchy recollection of Schmeichel doing a Harald Schumacher on Speedie in a League Cup game v Man Utd. Nothing was done to Schmeichel because it was Schmeichel, Manchester Utd and Old Trafford,

cambridgefox Posted 11 November 2010 Posted 11 November 2010 Ian Marshall i remember ipshit giving us a drubbing at portman road,he scored at least twice and ran to the Leicester fans.For that reason and a hatred of ipshit(loads of them near me,telling me we are shit) When he transfered to us i hated him with a passion,that was until he scored a hatrick in next to no time against Derby.du du du du Ian marshall.

Far Post Gerry Posted 11 November 2010 Posted 11 November 2010 I hated Freund too, mainly for being so damn ugly, but also for that incident with Savage in the cup final (though looking back without rose-tinted glasses I can see that Sav was being a dick as well). Could never love the Aryan bastard though, even at City.
