Ford Super Sunday Posted 5 December 2010 Posted 5 December 2010 Yes, I'm sure they have such a dramatic influence How does it possibly effect focus? Pathetic. Players are supposed to be running around giving it 100% for 90+ minutes, not walking around in a scarf and gloves. Its a sport for a reason. Yes, because every football game sees footballers running for 90 minutes non stop, with no breaks, no stops, and no times when they do actually stand or just walk. Get out of the 1980s and back to reality.
The Doctor Posted 5 December 2010 Posted 5 December 2010 You've obviously never been to Melbourne It may be warm in the Summer, Winter is cold. Not England cold. Also at trainings it can get to about 4/5 degrees. We can have all 4 seasons in one day, like last week, starting off 28 and sunny, then flash flooding in the city, with strong wind. That's a nice warmish day. Scarves, undershirts, gloves and tights are for the pansies (mainly gays and foreigners who think 10 degrees C is cold). Simple shirt, shorts and socks for the outfield players and the same for the keepers + some gk-ing gloves. They should all man up and get rid of the gloves/scarves/tights.
ACF Posted 5 December 2010 Posted 5 December 2010 Tight's and an audition for a 'Glee' sort of competition....people will start to make conclusions buddy . , but our Glee thing got cancelled,so it's a little less gay.... Tights are amazingly warm though.
Dickie Greenleaf Posted 7 December 2010 Posted 7 December 2010 Who gives a fook what people are wearing? Seriously, any supposed 'journalist' who hasnt got anything better to do than write an article charting the rise of the snood needs a fooking slap.
Ford Super Sunday Posted 7 December 2010 Posted 7 December 2010 Saw someone our running this morning, he had a hat and gloves on. fooking pansy, he's running for long distances and getting warm, he should be in just a thin shirt and a pair of shorts only.
The Doctor Posted 10 December 2010 Posted 10 December 2010 pah. played football yesterday on a frozen pitch with jog bottom & shirt, no real damage done and neither was i paticularly cold - despite, being a keeper, having not ran that much all match, although my right elbow is a bit sore after landing heavily on it when saving a penalty.
ajthefox Posted 10 December 2010 Posted 10 December 2010 anyone who needs tights or a scarf isn't working hard enough.
