MrSpaM Posted 14 January 2011 Posted 14 January 2011 http://www.thebluearmy.co.uk/news/Pitch-relayed-Walkers-Stadium/article-3099942-detail/article.html Must say i'm surprised by how much it costs, never thought it'd be that much
lcfcsam Posted 14 January 2011 Posted 14 January 2011 Top really has been, so far, a fantastic owner. Willing to back us financially and seems to understand football as well. It's clear him and :sge: have a good working relationship also.
VampLCFC Posted 14 January 2011 Posted 14 January 2011 Very impressive, the pitch did look quite bad on Sunday, it usually looks perfect, had no idea you could re lay a pitch and get it all ready in a week for a game! Full credit to "Top" paying for new players, loan fees, high wages etc etc now he's paying £100,000 - 120,000 for us to have a new pitch half way through the season, can't fault him!
Ashley Posted 14 January 2011 Posted 14 January 2011 The pitch did need re laying. Normally Leicesters pitch is one of the best in country all year round but after seeing it at the Man City match it was cutting up all over the place.
Houdini Logic Posted 14 January 2011 Posted 14 January 2011 I remember someone sliding near the half way line against Man City and taking up half a ton of turf. Seems strange doing this mid winter - maybe this means there's no more crap weather due
AaronH Posted 14 January 2011 Posted 14 January 2011 dont think it done us any harm having a dodgy pitch for man city
Guest BlueBrett Posted 14 January 2011 Posted 14 January 2011 Timed it well. Sh1t pitch for Man City game to serve as a bit of a leveller and then lovely playing surface for the rest of the Championship season since we are one of the best footballing sides in the league. Good thinking Top lad.
Kingylcfc Posted 15 January 2011 Posted 15 January 2011 probably was needed, bit unusual to be relaid during a season but Sven wants a new pitch, and that is what Top will get him
