I've always thought Berner is almost a CB playing at full back, as he is big and strong for a full back. Think he would do well there to be fair.

try what a few people have said for a few games. Put Hobbs on the right and see if Bamba can play on the left. eaither way they need a few games to gel together.

Agree, Hobbs is a rock at the back and you need to hoof it out at times especially in this league, maybe less in the prem, but Berner is definitely improving i don't think he's mastered LB let alone CLB

on Sol Bamba, he's scored some great goals already but has been a bit sketchy defensively, imo

if Bamba hadn't scored those goals i doubt we'd be doubting Hobbs at all!

That is what I think too.

You want a bigger guy in CB, with experience who can keep order, and then have lightening fast young guns on the left and right overlapping with the midfield, firing crosses in and getting back to cover.
