I've heard good reports about THE BRUNSWICK.Not far from Derby train station.Any info on this pub anyone ?

Been there once. Prices not bad and atmosphere was good. Plus only a few mins walk from the stadium. :)

they stopped serving for a few mins then continued again. i think the reason was that some of us lot tore down their derby flags :chant:

Correct, they especially didn't like the removal of the big one above the pool table. But that was not as funny as the bloke who ran in and sang Derby songs at the top of his voice.

I'm taking my son and his friend, would THE BRUNSWICK allow kids ?

Yes my lad was 12 last year when we took him in.

lcfcstu's right. The Navigation's the place to be for atmosphere. Not too far from the ground either.

The Brunswick is a top quality pub though. Got a micro-brewery if it's the one I'm thinking of.

Correct. The Brunswick has a brewery in house. Also try the Alexandra which is 100 yards further up the road. Between the two you will get 15 or more decent beers. Derby away is always one of the best days out for a pint and both pubs are outside the train station.

They also do a nice slice of Huntsman's Pie.
