Topman Posted 11 March 2011 Posted 11 March 2011 Wonder if yuki Abe will play tommorow? Given what happen in japan, if he has family over, that must be more important than a football game, thoughts are with Japan
Bugg Posted 11 March 2011 Posted 11 March 2011 Wonder if yuki Abe will play tommorow? Given what happen in japan, if he has family over, that must be more important than a football game, thoughts are with Japan He's already confirmed on the OS that his family are okay. He'll play tomorrow and hopefully get his first goal.
Topman Posted 11 March 2011 Author Posted 11 March 2011 That's great news, just make u wonder sometimes we moan and fuss about little things in life, and we are actually so lucky to live in here with little natural disasters, but cone on city and Abe to score his 1st goal..... Shoooooot!
accessory Posted 12 March 2011 Posted 12 March 2011 Given the devastation and carnage in his homeland, where his wife and child are still based, no-one should blame Yuki for being distracted. This is another call for Sven to make. The lack of credible alternatives (is Oakley really up to starting 3 games in a week?) may force his hand, though..
Callabinho Posted 12 March 2011 Posted 12 March 2011 Puts football into perspective doesn't it! Let's hope yuki snaches a goal today! He is abit of a cult hero in his home town!
mitsuo Posted 12 March 2011 Posted 12 March 2011 Yuki will be call up for the kirin cup. 25th and 29th march against montenegro and NZ. I don't know if the JFA will cancel these matchs.....
Stig the Lawnmower Posted 12 March 2011 Posted 12 March 2011 It gets worse. looks like an impending nuclear disaster over there now
dave_the_fox Posted 12 March 2011 Posted 12 March 2011 Didn't know his wife and kid are still in japan!
Callabinho Posted 12 March 2011 Posted 12 March 2011 I just hope the worst is over, their a tough nation, but who could have prepared for that! Shocking
ScouseFox Posted 12 March 2011 Posted 12 March 2011 Aye, thoughts with Yuki and his family etc. Tricky one as to whether he should play today, can't blame him if his mind's elsewhere.
Topman Posted 12 March 2011 Author Posted 12 March 2011 I reckon the international games in japan will be called off
MikeyT Posted 12 March 2011 Posted 12 March 2011 Talk about a double whammy though. Earthquake followed by a Tsunami. Horrific. Really hope the Japanese people's lives can return to some form of normality as soon as possible.
