I think you mis-understood mate. I wasn't being critical of Naughton, in fact I really like him. But we didn't miss him at all yesterday like I thought we would.

No coincidence King 7 Oakley 7 - a tackle on Eagles when we were 3/4 up was superb, true commitment Gallagher 9 - great goal Yakubu 7.5 Kamara 9.5 - this guy's a proper footballer. Pace, power, skill, finishing, he's got it all. Subs all 7, game was won.
Mack Posted 10 April 2011 Posted 10 April 2011 Couple of points. Anyone who thinks that Ricardo got a hard time because he is Portuguese is way way off the mark in my opinion. It's a human weakness to add something to a put down.. You fat ****... you thick bastard... etc. Means nothing and if Ricardo had been shit white hot you would have seen support, Portuguese flags maybe even. Even at football's darkest backward cesspit's (no names given input as required) fans adore good players from all over the World. It's just not an issue. Anyone who has given any player under 7/10 yesterday was either listening to Stringer at home or had one too many shandy's for me. Every single player stood up and put in a very good performance yesterday, every single one. Our defence already looks must more secure without the flapping lunatic in goal. Weale is no World beater, but he is no walking calamity either. The players trust him, he's good at this level, he got a standing ovation from me, long may his time between the sticks continue.

Seems to put more confidance in the defence aswell Vitor-8.5- Considering he was playing out of posistion it was a fantastic performance. Mustn't get to attached though as we,ve no chance of signing him Bamba 7.5- One or two shaky moments but otherwise solid. looks much better at RCB Mee 8- Rock solid and provides more balance to the back 4. Please sven dont pick Bruma on tuesday PVA- 8.5 Best game for LCFC and looked good defensivly aswell for once. Great goal to round it all off. Oakley 8- What he did he did well. credit where its due and all that. King 7.5 Better than recent games. Hopefully the rest done him good. Wellens-8.5 Best game for us in a while. Makes everything tick. When he plays well the team plays well. Should be captain imo. Gallagher 8.5 Should,ve had a hat-trick but two goals one outstanding and an all round good performance. Yakubu 7.5- Good link up play with Kamara and seemed to work abit harder than usuall Kamara 9.5 MOTM Quality performace, class act. Is he out of contract in the summer anyone? Subs:- All 7
