acooling08 Posted 9 April 2011 Posted 9 April 2011 Weale - 7 - Not much to do. A good save first half and a few good takes from corners. Vitor - 9 - Kyle who? Absolute beast, never beaten and good down the wing. Bamba -8 - Few iffy moments but generally solid, especially in the air. Mee - 9 - Never beaten. Had the strikers covered all game. PVA - 9 - Bit suspect defensively in the first 10 minutes but played very well after that. Great goal. Oakley - 8 - Very good at retaining posession and doing the simple stuff. Gally - 9 - Great balls into the box, 2 goals. King - 8 - Not great in and around the box but good passing, cleaning up. Wellens - 8 - See King. Had a great volley hit the bar at 4-0. Yak - 8 - Very strong and looks to be forming a good partnership with Kamara. Kamara - 11 - Brilliant at passing and keeping the ball (glued to his foot?), great goal. All the subs were good once they came on.
wakeyfox01 Posted 9 April 2011 Posted 9 April 2011 Weale - 6 - Flapping at crosses just as much as Ricardo including punching it straight to their player edge of the box, kicks were also very poor and gave Gally no chance. Did well to smother ball at one of their players feet 1st half though Vitor - 8 - Constantly bombing up and down the wing and played some lovely exchnages with King and Gally, looked comfortable in defence Bamba - 8 - Looks much more comfortable on the right side, couple of dodgy passes but won most things in the air Mee - 8 - Never really threatened at the back and look comfortable all game Van Aanholt - 8 - Great goal and some lovely pull backs to players in the box, had Delfouneso in his pocket for most of the game Oakley - 9 - Got about the pitch really well and put in some great challenges and interceptions, tidy in everything he did Wellens - 9 - Back to his old self, getting stuck in running the midfield and deserved a goal for that volley on the bar King - 8 - Much more prepared to run and commit players and gave a great lay-off for PVA's goal. Really involved today Gally - 10 - Never seemed to give the ball away, great movement and passing and could have had his hat-trick but for a good save Yakubu - 8 - Great interchange with Kamara for the first goal. Did well to drag and commit defenders and create space Kamara - 10 - Took their players on for fun and they didn't know how to handle him, great move for the goal and did well to win the pen. Great movement and dropped deep and created all game Subs: Vassell - 8 - So composed on the ball and a great set-up for Wellens volley Howard - 7 - Did well and kept hold of the ball with some nice passes Abe - 7 - Looked livley and helped us play the game out
Webbo Posted 9 April 2011 Posted 9 April 2011 Weale - 8 - His best game for ages. He's certainly upped his game since Ricardo was signed Vitor - 8 - Couldn't fault him Bamba -7.5 - Bit iffy at times Mee - 8 - Pick of the defenders today PVA - 8 - Great goal, reasonable defensively. Oakley - 8 - Good Gally - 8 - 2 good goals, reasonable all round performance. King - 7.5 - Fair. Wellens - 8 -Fair Yak - 7.5 - Held the ball up well, never looked like scoring. Kamara -8.5 MOTM skilful home debut, scored and won a pen. Subs; All-7
Bert Posted 9 April 2011 Posted 9 April 2011 Weale 7 - one decent save, looked very confident today. Vitor 8 - absolute class. He's even better st centre half. Would love to see him play next to Bamba on Tuesday. PVA 8 - his best performance for us, lovely goal. Bamba 8 - rock solid. Mee 7 - dominated Iwelumo. Oakley 7 - worked his socks off, did the simple things well. King 7 - some tidy link up play, better than he has been. Wellens 8 - when he plays well, we play well. Gally - 8 trademark penalty, and another worldie to add to the collection, top class delivery today. Kamara - 9. What a performance. A quality goal and terrorised Burnley all afternoon. Yak 7 - lovely assist, a pain all afternoon and created so much space for everyone else.
cairnsy Posted 9 April 2011 Posted 9 April 2011 Weale: 4 - worse than Ricardo Vitor: 8 - great game, could go forward more but solid defensively Bamba: 6 not much to do and didn't fill me with bags of confidence Mee: 8 - drilled back 4 well PVA: 8 quelled their paceman and went well forward Oakley: 9 thought he had a brilliant game today, didn't put a foot wrong King: 7 put himself about more but his shooting was dyer Wellans 8: more of a bruiser than creater role and played well Yak: 8 linked up with kamara well Gallagher: 8 tale of 2 halves Kamara: over 9000. Best player I have seen in a Leicester shirt for many years. His passing, movement and shooting was all world class. Brilliant game, can't praise him enough. Sven: 10: Wellllllll errrr it was a very good game. Did everything right and picked the right side and tactics for me. Bless him when he clapped when the fans were chanting his name

ajthefox Posted 9 April 2011 Posted 9 April 2011 how on earth can a keeper with a clean sheet get a 4? Christ Almighty.
gh09lcfc Posted 9 April 2011 Posted 9 April 2011 Weale 6 - He could of sat down and fell sleep, nothing to do at all apart from 1 early save Vitor 9 - This kid is incredible, brilliant defending brilliant attacking so consistent sign him up Bamba 8 - Back to his good ways today composed at centre half Mee 8 - Same as Bamba they work well together, did well against Iwelumo Van Aanholt 8 - By far his best game in a Leicester shirt, looked like a different player Oakley 7 - Sloppy passing played people into trouble a few times, but tackling wise superb Wellens 8 - Fantastic couldn't fault his performance, everywhere today and nearly scored King 7 - Probably our worst player in all fairness he has gone so quiet it's frustrating Gallagher 9 - Set pieces were dangerous, fantastic 2nd goal all round thumbs up Kamara 10 - Lionel Messi in disguise Yakubu 8 - Thought he did some good passing and linked up well just what we need Subs all 7
zubi Posted 9 April 2011 Posted 9 April 2011 Kamara: over 9000. Best player I have seen in a Leicester shirt for many years. His passing, movement and shooting was all world class. Brilliant game, can't praise him enough. Is that a Dbz reference
cairnsy Posted 9 April 2011 Posted 9 April 2011 how on earth can a keeper with a clean sheet get a 4? Christ Almighty. When he was never called upon to make a good save apart from when he was almost beaten from 35 yards out yet again and his distribution was poor and he flapped and dropped crosses, that's why. Is that a Dbz reference Maybe *suspicious eyes*

cairnsy Posted 9 April 2011 Posted 9 April 2011 When you say almost beaten do you mean the time when he actually saved that shot? Perhaps
ajthefox Posted 9 April 2011 Posted 9 April 2011 Perhaps So you say he was 'almost beaten' and use it as a criticism even though actually, he saved the shot? Hmmmm.... Sounds like that 4 is entirely justified..
Jimothy Posted 9 April 2011 Posted 9 April 2011 Weale is constantly picked up on being crap at saving long range shots, and when he saves one somebody picks him up on almost being beaten, Or in other words for saving it. he can't win! He had a good game, don't remember him dropping anything or flapping at anything. He might have slipped a couple of times on kicks but a lot of players seemed to slip, I think the pitch might have been over watered.
wakeyfox01 Posted 9 April 2011 Posted 9 April 2011 He had a good game, don't remember him dropping anything or flapping at anything. He might have slipped a couple of times on kicks but a lot of players seemed to slip, I think the pitch might have been over watered. He came for one cross got nowhere near it and they headed just over, as I've already mentioned he punched it straight to their man on the edge of the box but his shot was blocked. There was also another cross he dropped which had to be scrambled away. If it was Ricardo I'm sure you would have remembered it

lestajigs Posted 9 April 2011 Posted 9 April 2011 When he was never called upon to make a good save apart from when he was almost beaten from 35 yards out yet again and his distribution was poor and he flapped and dropped crosses, that's why. Why don't you go and bend Ricardo over, and **** him like crazy!! Maybe *suspicious eyes*
cairnsy Posted 9 April 2011 Posted 9 April 2011 So you say he was 'almost beaten' and use it as a criticism even though actually, he saved the shot? Hmmmm.... Sounds like that 4 is entirely justified.. But he was scrambling to save the shot from 35 yards out, iit was straight at him and he still managed to almost cock it up like usual. Hate to say it to a weale lover but mate hes crap
cairnsy Posted 9 April 2011 Posted 9 April 2011 Lestajigs when did I say Ricardo is good they are both crap so sit down and shut the f#*k up you little ****
Jimothy Posted 9 April 2011 Posted 9 April 2011 He came for one cross got nowhere near it and they headed just over, as I've already mentioned he punched it straight to their man on the edge of the box but his shot was blocked. There was also another cross he dropped which had to be scrambled away. If it was Ricardo I'm sure you would have remembered it Actually the one you say he dropped and was headed over was volleyed over, and he didn't drop it, Eagles headed and he blocked the header at point blank range. Every single goalkeeper in the world from the best to the worst will occasionally punch a ball to a man on the edge of the box. You're very harsh. I think the defence look happier with Weale behind them anyway. They look more confident.
Jimothy Posted 9 April 2011 Posted 9 April 2011 But he was scrambling to save the shot from 35 yards out, iit was straight at him and he still managed to almost cock it up like usual. Hate to say it to a weale lover but mate hes crap It was nothing like straight at him!
millzi Posted 9 April 2011 Posted 9 April 2011 Weale - 7 - As already said, didn't have a great deal to do but what he did do he did to a decent standard. Vitor - 7 - At first he looked a little weak playing out on the right but then came into his own and blocked up Delfouneso pretty well. Bamba - 8 - Work rate was fantastic, seemed to win every tackle he went in for. Always was there to cover anyone else. Mee - 7 - Didn't seem anything special but did what was needed. PVA - 8 - Definitely one of the better game he has had in a City shirt, and rounded it off with a superb finish on his weaker foot, Oakley - 6.5 - Average, didn't really see him do much to be honest, did what he had to do. (I thought he handed King the captaincy a few weeks back!?) Wellens - 8 - Tracking back was really good, passing was good and work rate was fantastic King - 7 - Like with the last few games, he's not shone above the rest like he had done earlier in the season. Gallagher - 9 - First half played a few stray passes but picked it up 2nd half and sorted that passing out. Quality strike for his 2nd, a little lucky with the penalty that it had enough venom. Yakubu - 7 - Didn't stand out, did what was needed most of the time but nothing special, as usual quite lazy. Kamara - 10 - MOTM - Had it all! First touch, control, passing, finishing, turning players. If he can perform like this week in, week out then I definitely want to sign him up. Excellent. Overall team performance - 9 - Excellent, best I have personally seen us play for some time, other than in the first half where on a couple of occasions we just hoofed the ball up which I don't like but we soon began to do the simple stuff and held possession fairly well throughout. Exploited Jensen's weaknesses really well, and we held a lead unlike last week!! If we can play like this for the next 6 games and keep scoring, and don't mess the team around then who knows after 46 games.
ithuriel Posted 9 April 2011 Posted 9 April 2011 Weale.........7 better than ricardo in my opinion and the defence looked like it was gaining in confidence, worried about bruma returning for the next game though. In the first half made a very good save when the game was tight and also caught a ball under pressure that ricardo would have tried to punch. Vitor............8 Mee............8 Bamba......8 PVA.............8 For once he looked like a premier league quality player with better timing, measured passing and a quality goal. King...........7 Strangely poor in front of their goal but got forward well. Wellens....8 Oakley.......7 Played a very good game Gallagher..8 could have had a hat trick but fluffed the third and possibly easiest chance Yakubu......7 Kamara.....10/10 class player that their defence could not handle, far to good for this division. .... Vassel......7 coming on fresh he kept their defence worried after the departure of yak n kamara Howard.....6 overly heavy touches but it was his first game back Abe...........6
