Its an absolute disgrace what happened, they were told they had to start the game and it would be called off after 30 minutes - just for the TV!!! Good job we haven't missed out by 3 points, although as he points out it did bring to an end a good run and who knows what might have happened had that continued. What's this?

They were told that Sky had insisted the game started and that it would be stopped after 30 minutes. Had it been nil nil then no doubt it would have been abandoned, but as we all know we were 3 nil down so the ref had a bit of a problem!!! Unless of course I heard it wrong but sure I didn't!

I was in a pub in Copenhagen, asked the barman to put the football on.... he flicked to skysports1 then switched it off... He thought it was ice hockey!!!

Rather than factor in any injuries that may have occured (which they did IIRC) they decided that messing up their pissing schedule was far more important. And we were 2-0 down at 30 minutes, not that it matters. What's the point in playing for a pre determined 30 minutes?
