New Disk drives are around £35-£40, which you can easily fit your self theres enough tutorials around, i'll even link you to some on facebook. Buying a new disk drive for the xbox would mean you voiding the whole waranty by opening it up though. Wouldnt go with eBay my self, a friend done it and had the problem as you mentioned disk try= f**ked.
red5 Posted 30 July 2011 Posted 30 July 2011 You can get the laser replaced for about £30, you can't just change a dvd drive, it's matched to the motherboard and you need to read the key.
