Hopefully we will be big enough one day to sign her and Katie Chapman she's a great player, I like her becuase she is 'ard (fit aswell). Did anyone see how fit Sjostrom was for Sweden who scored their goal? Oh My God!!!

I reckon this could be the turning point for Womens football, since when have we talked about womens football in this much detail, and since when have we praised womens football? Ok as we have said in other threads womens club football (FA Cup final, e.t.c) ain't the best football i've seen played but I really think this could be the start of womens football becoming quite big! I hope so anyway...Might even start popping down to watch the LCFC women, theres a couple of nice girls in our team - none come anywhere close to Rachel Unitt but there still nice! hehe...and us men say some women only go to the football to look at the mens legs I'd just like to state I never say that, I believe more women should come to the football if anything!
Cat Burger Posted 12 June 2005 Posted 12 June 2005 I didn't think Carney had good games against Sweden and Denmark, she was awesome against Finland as were the whole team, we struggle to make chances playing the formation that we do though! and Hope Powell doesn't change it!
