East London Fox Posted 17 July 2011 Posted 17 July 2011 I think that as the season gets into full swing, we will be (hopefully) at, or near to the top! We'll probably get more games on Sky then. However, reading some of the posts here, I have to agree that I much prefer going to games on a Saturday afternoon, rather than the Sunday / Monday night games . In terms of £60k per game for being on Sky, attendances tend to drop so less money coming in from ticket sales. I am torn on this one!!
liamsm Posted 18 July 2011 Posted 18 July 2011 Well go to the games then Not everybody is able to go to all the away games you selfish shit
liamsm Posted 18 July 2011 Posted 18 July 2011 I don't mind if we're not on sky because i go to all the games anyway Are you at the match for 2nites game then being as you go to all the away games? or couldn't mummy afford to let you go to this one
LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 18 July 2011 Posted 18 July 2011 Judging by your username you're about 16 years old with bugger all financial committments. Hardly makes you the biggest fan does it? As for Sky not showing many of our games- GOOD. I hate the firm with a passion, fkin up game times for the fans, pricing out the working class man etc. Oh yeh and who can forget (or forgive) that farce that was Ipswich away?? I don't want any of that And I'd rather listen to it on the Radio anyway, cos if you go down the pub wanting to watch the City game you have no chance if Man U or whoever are on another channel. (and all you do is get slagged off for liking crap football anyway!) Sky not showing us is a good thing! What do you mean by that? I pay for it all if thats what your saying, also off to Austria tommorow which i payed for myself..

Foxblogger Posted 18 July 2011 Posted 18 July 2011 No im not at tonights game but I am going Austria tommorow, plus I pay for my own games Good for you. However, whilst you may be fortunate enough to follow your team everywhere they go you would do well to remember that for many it's not that simple. There's nothing I'd like more than to go to every game this season but work, paying the rent, bills, looking after a small child etc. come first. Leicester being on the TV allows many fans to see their team more than they usually would. Your comments earlier in this thread were at best insensitive.
Dylan Posted 18 July 2011 Posted 18 July 2011 No im not at tonights game but I am going Austria tommorow, plus I pay for my own games Going to every home and away game as a 16 year old would cost you at least a £1000 a season, and going to Austria (flights, hotel, food) will add to that a lot more. I highly doubt you pay for that all yourself, considering you're only 16 like me. EDIT: unless of course you've recently won the lottery or something.

Plus we are driving to Austria, me and few others, camping and also taking own food so not much. cost me £160 altogether.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 18 July 2011 Posted 18 July 2011 Other financial committments= mortgage/rent, bills, the cost of running a car, a family etc. Not paying for your tickets yourself! As said before, i think it was davie g- he had to save every last quid to afford to go to a game. Everyone is different and has different financial circumstances. But don't go shooting your mouth around on here when clearly you have none of committments most have on here

And you're looking at at least £15-20odd each game for coach/petrol etc- most the time more?
LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 18 July 2011 Posted 18 July 2011 And you're looking at at least £15-20odd each game for coach/petrol etc- most the time more? about £10 for coach but that doesnt matter. I pay my own money following a football team i support, im a fan and pay whatever it costs to get where there playing. Dont know why everyone is being like this cause all i said was that it doesnt bother me because i go games i pay money no matter what the costs to see a team i support and a good day out whileas some people dnt.

This is why. You're acting like a condescending gobshite that thinks he's a better supporter just because he can afford to go to more games.

Never said that all iv said is that it doesnt bother me if we're on sky because I go mostly all games and now everyone is moaning
Haydos Posted 18 July 2011 Posted 18 July 2011 Never said that all iv said is that it doesnt bother me if we're on sky because I go mostly all games and now everyone is moaning And there we go. Why even say that in the first place? Now read all your other posts on the matter and tell me you don't sound like an ignorant tool.
