There should be an IQ test involved in signing up to this site. i found your remark funny no that isnt what i am saying what i am saying is if you cant beat coventry (a team that finished 17 th or something last season, and you are talking about promotion then we best not get ahead of ourselfs any way i fully expect to beat the cov and if we dont then i would be suprised if we did well, i dont think it will effect the season, no i dont but remember that coventry was a team involved in the dog fight last season all i was saying is we should really be aiming to beat them. :sge:

By the sounds of it you'll be on here after demanding immediate changes if we do anything but win. no but come on its coventry they were like near the bottom of the league ,all teams should always play to win, if you start thinking about the draw know then i dont think you are being very ambitious plus i think cov have lost there best player, marlon king, and i recon we have a good defence know, no i wont be demanding changes but i recon at the start of the season you have to look at the teams, look at who you cant beat and who you might struggle against for example coventry finished 18 th last season ,http://www.englishfootball.info/championship/table/ so id say because of that we have a better chance of beating coventry than we have of beating someone like cardiff who finished fourth teams like the one below all finished below us last season, if we beat these teams home and away that would be 60 points straight the way, and they are all teams that finished below us last season so i think we have a good chance against them: (i dont include hull as i think they have a good manager and will do well this season. On paper we really should beat chav and comfortably... However the opening day of the season always throws up strange results and every team this season will be gunning to knock us off our expensively assembled pedestal. I think the previous poster is correct though.. Chav etc are teams that we must be superior to if we are to gain promotion. Might not happen on the opening day, but must happen over the course of the year..

I think your point of picking up 60 points straight away by beating those teams home and away is quite frankly ridiculous. You should know that the championship is one of, if not the most competitive league in world football. It's a long season, points will be won and lost along the way. We'll be up there come the start of May.
