3 most important players in every team

Recommended Posts

I guess this is a lot to ask but if someone is up to it and can get their opinions I would appreciate it. i want to get a better knowledege especially in the weaker teams both for knowledge and betting purpose so I can do proper analyses when betting and help from you would speed it up. It's also quite fun cause everyone have different views.

If you think this is an unbelivable idiotic and selfish thread then just delete it. Otherwise help me to fill in the blanks even if you just have an opinion of a certain team. I try to think about the three of our most important players for leicester this season, but I struggle cause we have a good unit a great squad but no fenomenal star really yet, if not fernandes just gonna boss this division for fun. I guess our newbies must shine, Kasper, Mills, Fernandes, Danns, Nugent etc as well as our best players from last season must step up too.

here are the teams anyhow:

Barnsley

Birmingham

Blackpool

Brighton

Bristol

Burnley

Cardiff City

Coventry City

Crystal Palace

Derby County

Doncaster Rovers

Hull City

Ipswich Town

Leeds United

Leicester City

Middlesbrough

Millwall Squad

Nottingham Forest

Peterborough United

Portsmouth

Reading Squad

Southampton

Watford

West Ham United

knowledge and betting purpose

Firstly, it's an interesting question, however you can't just ask with the word "important" because its not spiecific enough.

Also don't bet on the Championship it's far too competitive & unpredictable

Knowledge & opinions on football are formed through your experience, I would not put my money on bets through what other people thought because it's not really your bet in the end isit?

Firstly as I'm non english and can't see that much championship football I just want better knowledge. Also in Sweden we have every week something called "stryktipset" where you have to try to pick 13 correct matches with maybe 6 from PL and 7 from championship (you can do quite expensive systems). You can win as much as 2 million pound if you are alone. Anyway with better knowledge it's easier especially with the weaker teams to pin out how important one or a couple of injuries is if you actually have knowledge.

I bet quite a lot and know how unpredictable this league is because of the tough schedule, however I think it's better with more knowledge than less.

Still even if I weren't betting on a single game next season, I think championship is becoming a great leauge and when you live in another country it's harder to see games and get as much information (if you're not digging deep yourself on internet) from championship compared to Premier Leauge. I want to extend my knowledge of other teams than Leicester in this leauge, and was trying to get a jump-start here as I thought maybe some people actually would think it was fun to estimating players in other teams.

With important I more or less mean which players would be hardest to loose if they have an injury etc. Most of the time most important is = best players, but sometimes a less skilled players can be more important for the team when he has other qualites as work-rate or influental on other players.

For a non-English bloke you have excellent English!

I'm planning to do some extensive reading/studies on all teams but as I said, you guys most certainly know more players by heart living in england. And again this isn't just for betting purposes, I think it is more fun to follow other games than Leicester the more I know about the teams. But then again if I'm in that mood I can do some tough betting.

The advantage to bet on championship compared to Premier League is that the Premier Leauge odds are almost always spot on, some betting firms are not equal accuarate on leagues under the op flight. You can sometimes get some advantage if players are injured and as the squads normally are much more vulnerable in the championship compared to Premier Leauge, injury blows and tough schedule will come into counting more than in the PL.

Well thank you, but I know I do a lot of silly mistakes. Anyway it's easier to be active on a foreign forum when you don't get abused about bad grammar and stuff all the time.

All Swedish people have amazing English, even their burger monkeys in McDonalds can recite ****ing Shakespeare, it's mental.

I saw that thread, thank you. Basically those reports is what I was after so I will read them thoroughly. It would have been nice with some various opinions as well but those report looked splendid when I had a quick look at some of them.

Gladly share opinions with you, just need to see the season kick off first, and the transfer window close before I can decide.

Thanks for directing to my thread much appreciated.

Just so this thread actually gets comments about 3 most important players.

I will give you two, I identified them in the actual previews which I did. Apart from being key players for their side I would have them down as two of the main players to keep an eye for in 2011/2012.

Albert Adomah of Bristol City and Matt Phillips of Blackpool, two very good dangerous wingers.

Also I haven't typed up Millwall yet but look out for striker John Marquis

Thank you, I see in your reports that you mention key-players in every team. Just to clarify. I didn't mean to choose the 3 most important players from the whole championship but 3 most important players in every team. 3 was just a number though and your reports will do great for me to read up on all our opponents. cheers

if you want to do an accumulator the championship is not the way to go really. especially at the start of the season. it's best to let teams settle in and see who has a very good home/away record and vice versa

this is what the stryktipset looks like:

stryktipset

Every week you try to do a new system to get 13 correct wins out of 13. You can get paid for 10/13 as well. But a lot of the money in the pool are dead money from small systems.

Normally when I bet, I bet big on one game rather than bet on accumulators.

The Championship is quite nice....

Competitive and great odds.

I would think that Gally, one of the full backs and Nugent... Not King and Mills....

David McGoldrick for Forest :S Should be Lee Camp, Luke Chambers & Lewis McGugan.

Same as previous poster r.e Millwall.

Leicester - Mills Wellens Gally

Gallagher and Wellens are just average Championship players. Look how exposed they were in the Real Madrid game.

I don't see them as key players for us this season. Deal with that.

Sven paid £4m for a reason - Mills will give the defence strength, presence and leadership it's lacked for some time.
