You're barking up the right tree... but he only loses when he win to lose too many games.

So... the question is, what game was he trying to play while his boys were being tonked by 'pool? lol

Chess? lol

I'm going for a 2-1 win to the Arsenal. Come on Arsenal.:banana:

I'm going to get so much stick Saturday if the Gooners lose.

lol:Dlol

Good old scousers, giving Arsenal a spanking :scarf::P

It appears as though Liverpool well and truly battered my team today. Far from impressed. But in all fairness to Liverpool they deserved it as Arsenal were absolutely wank going forward in this one. Not the happy Merseyside trip I was hoping it'd be.:angry:

You backed the wrong (one-trick) ponies.

It appears I did today. I knew Liverpool are an extremely difficult side to beat at home - Chelsea went there and got beat this season, and United should have been beaten there. After the last time Arsenal played there this season, I thought they were a fairly safe bet to pick up another 3 points. How wrong was I??

Very.

Apparently.

Still... that's what you get for being cocky.

Hmmm lesson learnt you would think.. Does that mean I shouldn't be so cocky about the end of season game??

Away to Pompey?

Your boys (literally boys) will blob it.

Was talking about the FoxesTalk 11-a-side, but fair enough! :P

Arsenal away to Pompey?? I fancy a nice, hard-earned 2-1 victory for Arsenal down there. Arsenal to go 1-0 down before the half hour, and then come back to win with goals in either half. One of which will be from outside the box. Perfect.

You predicted 2-1 away win today... look where that got you... put you in the firing line.

And it just so happens that I'm holding the super soaker.

Hmm a 2-1 away win in Scouseland isn't overly optimistic and fairly reasonable, so I thought. But my prediction for the game away at Pompey will come good, I know it.

You should be careful with that super soaker you speak of. Summer isn't here yet, and you might need it when Arsenal are on fire starting in two games' time. ;)

You still here?

How come you're not canned up already? :dunno:

You can't love Arse that much... since you're not drowning your sorrows in some golden piss-coloured Aussie beer.

Arsenal just had a bad day at the office today, and I accept that. But seeing as I'm a Leicester fan, we also got beat today with the opposition scoring four, and I am actually banned from watching us play anywhere, I have more things to worry about than Arsenal losing in Scouseland for the second time in quick succession. They'll be back, and they'll silence all of the critics in this thread as well when they are. Be warned!! :P

And for the record, Fosters is awesome beer.

First sensible thing you've said in this thread

I see your warning and I raise you a Super Soaker XL500.

There's no disputing Fosters is a fine beverage... but it still does a good impression of piss.

Oh yes... one final thing (Columbo style) ... this thread will NEVER be silenced.

Most of it is sensible. I've decided you no longer have a valid opinion seeing as you prefer Real Madrid to Barcelona and you think Arsenal are shite.

Ahhh see this I can agree with. This thread won't be silenced. Instead your "Arsenal Bashing" and your laughing will turn to rage and jealousy when Arsenal start performing to their high standards again.

You sir, are talking bollocks.

There'll always be some small way in which we can slag Arsenal... probably when Whinger opens his gob... or Lehmann ****s something up... or gets himself into trouble by having a loose gob (as he did today)... it might not be about results (assuming your wild fantasies turn true) but there's plenty of other aspects we can attack.

Arsenal are a slagging gold mine. :)

I know Arsenal are shite, Peter Crouch just put 3 past 'em for crying out loud :P

I do fear that next season will be a different story entirely, i think they'll be up there with Man U, Chelsea and even Liverpool. That's why we've got to make the most of this thread while they're still awful :D

Mate, you are talking bollocks. If you're going to be picky about minor details, then we could have a thread like this for every team. Arsenal are a great footballing side, and if they can keep their young lads together, they are going to be an absolutely awesome force in a couple of seasons. I don't think there's any way this can be denied.

That's the first sensible thing you have said in this thread. Of course Arsenal will be up there again some time soon. They have an awesome young side coming through, which, if it can stay together, will know each other inside-out and will be devastatingly good. You know it.

And fyi, Peter Crouch, as comical as he may be, is massively underrated.

The "other teams" aren't Arsenal, though, so it's not the same.

Oh I do hope Jens Lehmann gets his contract extended. ;):P:D

I can't help but wondering why there isn't a thread similar to this one for Chelsea. You three are all evidently Leicester fans and are used to shite football, yet you don't appreciate the sheer brilliance of the football that Arsenal play?? Makes no sense to me.

I would love it, just love it if Spurs overtook Arsenal for 4th place somehow. Its a long way off but I think Spurs have better players and play some great footy these days and I know that the whining Arsenal fans wouldnt be able to come out of their houses if that happened. Getting dicked 4-1 at Liverpool is a good start, especially as the Spurs won against Reading. Heres hoping lol

I couldn't allow that... that would mean Spurs representing the Premiership in Europe.

What a horrid thought.

Spurs can finish above Arsenal if they like... just not high enough to get into Europe or anything.
