Guest Col city fan Posted 13 August 2011 Posted 13 August 2011 Right, you've done it now, I'm bringing out the emoticon. Is anyone actually making any points about Schlupp or is this the Webbo V Nick slamdown? ding ding.... round two??
Nick Posted 13 August 2011 Posted 13 August 2011 I'm not. Your reply to spherical implied he had no sense and some of your recent rants directed at me won't win you a moderators title any time soon!

Zingari Posted 13 August 2011 Posted 13 August 2011 Your reply to spherical implied he had no sense and some of your recent rants directed at me won't win you a moderators title any time soon! Thats a right Schlupp in the kisser Webbo , don't stand for it
Webbo Posted 13 August 2011 Posted 13 August 2011 Your reply to spherical implied he had no sense . He implied to me that my comments were laughable and that I'd never been to a match. some of your recent rants directed at me won't win you a moderators title any time soon! Sounds like a bit of payback.
Nick Posted 13 August 2011 Posted 13 August 2011 He implied to me that my comments were laughable and that I'd never been to a match. Sounds like a bit of payback. He asked you if you had ever been to match satirically, because our fans do not always act like they deserve to be credited with sense then posted a laugh out loud emoticon - fair point isn't it? Pay back? What for? Lost me there, Webbo.
Nick Posted 13 August 2011 Posted 13 August 2011 I was being satirical too. Came over as aggressive. Try harder.
Zingari Posted 13 August 2011 Posted 13 August 2011 With a bit of Webbo's aggression and tenacity and a bit of Nick's eye for an opening, ability to get up high , and awareness of the finer points , this lad Schlupp could go places

Guest Col city fan Posted 13 August 2011 Posted 13 August 2011 What a lot of fookin nonsense this thread has become. It's like watching a married couple having a squabble over dinner....
Webbo Posted 13 August 2011 Posted 13 August 2011 What a lot of fookin nonsense this thread has become. It's like watching a married couple having a squabble over dinner.... Sorry Col. Edit; And sorry to Spherical if I over reacted to his post.
Guest Col city fan Posted 13 August 2011 Posted 13 August 2011 No worries.. I'm off down the boozer...
Raw Dykes Posted 13 August 2011 Posted 13 August 2011 I would play him from the start...theres nothing like confidence to keep a good run going..and he looked very confident against Rotherham. What would be wrong, today, IMO is to keep him on the bench and to bring him on for the last 10...he'll be champing at the bit and will get frustrated if Svennis don't give him a proper go... I'm sure Schlupp doesn't expect to go into the first team yet. Throwing him straight in at the deep end could well end in disaster. I think his performance v. Rotherham has earnt him more of a look-in certainly, but this means some appearances coming on as a sub, not instant 1st choice forward.
Zingari Posted 13 August 2011 Posted 13 August 2011 What a lot of fookin nonsense this thread has become. It's like watching a married couple having a squabble over dinner.... In all fairness that can be pretty interesting , especially if they start chucking stuff about in a posh restaurant , some of the greatest comedy moments have used just such a scenario ,
Salieri Posted 13 August 2011 Posted 13 August 2011 I blame that Zingari fella, seems like a right stirrer.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 13 August 2011 Posted 13 August 2011 I really don't think the lad should be thrown in at the deep end. At eighteen, he has many years ahead of him, in which to develop, with confidence. Put him on the bench, by all means, and give him some game time, but a jewel is worth looking after, and needs to be protected. His time will come.
Zingari Posted 13 August 2011 Posted 13 August 2011 I blame that Zingari fella, seems like a right stirrer. Golden Spoon winner 3 times running in the 70's I was even courted as a possible ambassador to a middle eastern country , but I wanted a job with a challenge
