Yep thats it. The 5-1 over the worst German side of all time and the 1-0 over Argentina.

Ferguson had a torrid time at Man Utd for the first few years. Bugger me, even Lambert drew and lost his first two games in charge of Norwich. Sven, like the players, is finding his feet in what is realistically a whole new team. The team pre-Thais wasn't good enough to get promoted, whatever people say. If it did get promoted by the grace of god it'd have got slaughtered in the Prem. We are building for the long run here people. 4 games, even 10 games is nothing in the long run. It appears some people think buying a season ticket means a brilliant year with instant promotion. It doesn't. Building a team takes time.
foxes2011 Posted 20 August 2011 Posted 20 August 2011 the FA, that oracle of knowledge, supposedly said something about Sven being the second best manager England had ever had a short while back. i thought hoddle was quality , dont know why he still not managing actually, was a brilliant coach, you cant argue with svens time with england either, the problem with england is that the expectations are two high, you cant win the world cup when you teams like italy,spain,france,germany,argentina,portugal,brazil,holland and the rest plus i think we played players that are to old to play for england know people like frank lampard and gerrard are wonderfull players and trully quality but they are getting no younger know and tbh i think its time them and a few others retired, they have been playing for decades for england and every time i watch england its the same story they just cant play together
