The Sven Revolution Posted 20 August 2011 Posted 20 August 2011 I'm still here. I may not have gone overboard with we're gonna win the league etc and equally i'm not about to give up and write us off after THREE games. There's far too many on here who just bounce about from one extreme to another, week to week. Agreed. And to Col City, like I said if we are near enough play offs in Dec thats just about acceptable. If we are 13th lets say..then thats a major concern and serious thoughts about whether Sven is doing it for us are justified. Until Dec I'm fully behind the team and the management, one win or loss here and there doesn't matter. Any manager must be given time for success, whether its Sven or another manager (2-3 years atleast..else we will go on sacking managers and get nowhere, besides 1 thing is certain if Sven fails our next manager will certainly not be as successful a a manager as Sven has been not not as high profile..both of which are needed to back the Thai investment, so its a very very rocky road ahead if Sven gets sacked anytime his season). I just think we must be careful about what we wish for as it might just be self destructive for the club.
tomtom Posted 20 August 2011 Posted 20 August 2011 With real supporters behind the team instead of the boo boy home fans I think we'll see a marked improvement, some signs of the team starting to gel is a must though
tomtom Posted 20 August 2011 Posted 20 August 2011 When the red red Robin goes bob bob bobbing along, shoot the bastard shoot the bastard shoot shoot shoot the bastard. UTF Damn are we playing swindon?

The forum has become amazingly doom and gloom and I thought you'd gone into an early hibernation... Agree with everything you say today.....
rico Posted 20 August 2011 Posted 20 August 2011 You can expect to get played off the park for 70 minutes, have 20000 mute home fans and a ref who wants to be the main talking point of the match !
Corky Posted 20 August 2011 Posted 20 August 2011 We're never going to win a league game there are we?
