Guest MattP Posted 19 August 2011 Posted 19 August 2011 If you are half decent you should beat us. The side we are bringing isnt as good as the one you beat 3-2 last season, however it does have a better keeper this time.

Callabinho Posted 19 August 2011 Posted 19 August 2011 Slow starters to say the least. I'm not confident about Saturday at all. Confidence is very low within the team at the moment, If we are lucky could come away with a point. I hope Vassell is restored to the front three to give us a bit more pace but unless we get a new winger and striker in before the game I fear it will be more of the same. We are very shaky at the back Mills has zero confidence at the moment and I hope he plays Paintsil because I'm not impressed with some of Peltier's decision making. Midfield is a bit sideways at the moment and we are a bit static up front. Hopefully the fact it's a derby will kick them up the arse....I pray anyway.

Corky Posted 19 August 2011 Posted 19 August 2011 We've been playing superbly, passing the ball to each other freely and peppering the opposition keeper for 90 minutes. Totally confident of us getting a result. Most probably a loss.
Bilbo Posted 19 August 2011 Posted 19 August 2011 It's nice to see a page where the majority of comments pretty much sum up exactly how I feel; - This side (at this present time) not as good as the team we brought to Forest last season - We need a decent winger and a very decent striker to be a force this season - We will most probably lose this game 3-0

Zingari Posted 19 August 2011 Posted 19 August 2011 I'm sure no one needs to tell you that this match is like our cup final , so we'll be well up for it and punching well above our collective weight , ( and that includes our resident drummer ) edit; Around 1969/70 some great big bloke in a black leather motorcycle jacket with chains on it and some of his mates threw me in the Trent after the game. Can I expect this not to happen this time?
Callabinho Posted 19 August 2011 Posted 19 August 2011 I just generally hate forest away, last year was the worst yet! Listening to 20 odd thousand forest fans gloating is the worst feeling ever! I hang on to a glimmer of hope that we might get something, However we did beat Coventry! So I suppose I can have some optimism.
