The writing's been on the wall for Waggy for months. No league start for him since last November made it clear Sven didn't rate him.

Let's hope the manager pulls his finger out and signs a striker that he can motivate.

Darius Vassell played really well on Saturday upfront until he ran out of steam, he is an out and out striker remember

It's a bit worrying if we are classing Vassell as one of our main strikers - a useful player but has never scored a large number of goals.

Maybe he'll go to a club where some bright spark of a manager, who isn't world class, doesn't have international experience, will think that Waghorn being a striker should be played upfront rather than out of position on the wings. Fifteen minutes here and there on the left wing is not classed as a chance to impress.

Think he will do really well for a club lower down in this league or a lower league . He obviously has the physical prowess but not the guile to be a top striker . Thank you any way Waggy you still gave us some great moments .
