When's the last time we won two league home games in the space of 3/4 days?

I don't know the answer, it's just out of interest - it just seems to me we hardly ever win at home on the Saturday, backing it up with another home win on the Tuesday, or win on the Tuesday backing it up with another home win on the Saturday.

Considering we have Watford on Wednesday 19th, and Millwall on Saturday 22nd, it may be a time for us to break that duck (of course if there is one, I may have missed something dead obvious).

The last time I see it happening in the league, was during the 2004/05 season, it does include a Sunday though.

Tuesday 26th April: Leicester City 1-0 Derby County

Sunday 1st May: Leicester City 2-0 Leeds United

The last time it happened though, was including cup games when we beat Crewe followed by Dagenham under Pearson.

Sadly Dagenham was in the cup.

It does seem the case though that we rarely deliver two in a row. I've looked it up and it was actually towards the end of 2002/03.

Mind you, you can put that a lot down to the fact we just never ever seem to win home midweek games, and the fact in the rare case we do win a home midweek game, there's rarely a home game just before or after it, so it's not all that surprising.

The Derby and Leeds wins were to the end of the 2004/05 season.

If you have a look at our results, we usually win and draw or win and then loose etc

Especially when we are playing Burnley.

Well done. :)

Also, I see Leicester bottled this once again. lol Unbelievable, an actual jinx. Next chance is April 17th (Burnley) & April 21st (West Ham). Doubt it.

You clearly put a positive jinx on the result with your pessimism :P

Ohh yeah! I might do that every game now!

I meant home games more than anything though, because Burnley have a history of coming to the King Power and winning 0-1. How many times have we seen that in the past? I mean, they were the first team to win at the then-Walkers, and the score was 0-1.

Even when they don't win they tend to keep a clean sheet - I believe I'm right in saying the opener v them in April was our first goal at the current ground v them?

I agree with you.

I remember going on to everyone prior to that game saying what an absolute joke our home record was v Burnley. In-fact that 4-0 and the 1-3 last week were the only times I've ever seen us score past them.

Very true;

2002/03: Leicester 0-1 Burnley

2004/05: Leicester 0-0 Burnley

2005/06: Leicester 0-1 Burnley

2006/07: Leicester 0-1 Burnley

2007/08: Leicester 0-1 Burnley

2010/11: Leicester 4-0 Burnley

2011/12: ??
